What would be louder? Currently have a bl 15 in a 3.1 cu box. I was wondering if two Sa 10's in a walled trunk would sound louder then my one 15?
I dont know if this makes any difference but my 15 is firing upwards in the back of my car.
i had 2 sa 10's in my f150 and they sounded great! deff liked them.. everyone thought i had more then just two 10's and they had sounded great also

thats what everyone says that has them!! cant wait till they are finally in my trunk doin work!!You won't be let down sir.
That's because it's true!!! You will probably expand what you listen to, just to see what else you can play with authority.
now thats what im talking about!! well im taking out my by 9's in the back deck.. since everyone says i wont even hear them once my ethos are in the trunk.. so im going to work on making my front stage clean and loud.. i thinking i may go with PRV or Beyma.. gonna do a 6 1/2 in each door and a tweet for now... my strut mount went in the back last week so that set me back a bit.. was supposed to get my alarm installed yesturday but got the date moved to november 1.. trying to kill time b4 my Ethos get here

Take the 6x9s out, those Ethos are gonna destroy them and they wont be heard anyway. Sell the speakers and use the cash for the front stage.
hell yea! think that deff what im gonna do bud.. i been looking at some beyma or PRV.. for my front stage

yea i posted some pics in the build log area.. just waiting on my Ethos and i can finish!! im so anxious do get this done.. i have everything ready.. once my subs come i can put my batteries in my trunk.. mount the subs in my box and ill be stright! so many people want to hear them when i get them.. im praying they come soon think i may take out my 6x9's in my back stock speaker spot.. and work on getting my front doors loud.. my friend said i wont really hear the 6x9's once the subs are in my trunk

Went thru many amplifier changes before the build was even complete.Went from a Atomic 5k to a DD M4 to a Tara HD8000. Used my burp box in another vehicle and built a street box for the Etho 15s. Have had minimal playtime with them but the initial results were good. Tight accurate response. Did have a small hiccup that has had a band-aid put on just to get some testing in and show them off at a little local show tomorrow. So far ive done a 148 flat with them sealed on the dash from 44-47hz which is close to my vehicles peak. Have not done any meca style metering yet but in the past thats where it has typically shined. Going to play around with some more enclosures once i glue some recones in.
man that sweet! i cant wait to get my Ethos not to much longer i hope!!!

my box is 3.05 cubes.. tuned to 32.2 HZ double baffle... 45's... wood is baltic birch.. prob gonna stain the box and gloss it.. need to figure out where in my trunk i can fit these batterys... either where the spear tire is.. but i would have to lay the batterys down.. is that bad?? or i could put a battery on each side of the box but ill need alot more wire to do that.. rather have them close to each other.... i still have a few weeks to figure it out

Hell of an idea for your factory wiring going to the battery, cool to use those distribution blocks like that.
lol thanks man.. it was my friends idea.. it works!
