can I ask how your score was after the new box?

call the mazda dealership on Tues or monday if their open and theyll know what group battery.

added 0.3 cubes to the inside of the box and my score jumped up to 141.6 @ 42-43hz. Upgraded grounds, and D3400 in the front will bump me to 142 I hope.

2x Level 3 12's with an AQ 1200d amp, the box is little more than 4 cubes tuned to 39.5 hz, off some tones i was able to do a 139.9, and then some tuning bumped me up to 140.0 db, sealed with TL on the window. The hard part is its in a 4 dr car which are f*ckn hard to get loud, but we shall see what this setup can do when tuned to 43-44 hz, should have results Thursday with some pictures.

some very good possibilities, ill think of 1 or 2 and give it a shot and report back. I obv. dont have enough time to try everything out but my goal is 142, and I think very attainable with the idea you guys have gave me. oh its a 91 accord;)

yea i was thinking of trying both seats all the way forward and tilted, will try the rear window up and opposite window down, wer're just going to but a 9x9x9 piece of wood in to bump up the tuning to 43-45 hz, see how much I gain and how it sounds on music then maybe cut 4 inches off the port. Let me know if theres anything else I could do. With my backseat up, 138.5, back seat down 140.0

not everyone wants 2 10's, majority run 12's and 15's imo, thats because box size varies from vehicle-vehicle and person-person, in my city most have 2 12's, some just prefer to be different and like to do a bunch of 10's, but i only know 1 guy who did that.

if your using 1/0 i would fuse atleast 200 so 250, or 300 fuse, for starting battery, D1200 would work, if you want a little more the D5100!

you can get the same features in a pioneer unit, compare the alpine 9886 to the pioneer DEH-6000 or 7000 and you save $50-$100 at the same time. Pioneer ftw!

for saz 1500, a d5100 will be good for up to 3000 watts as a second batt, when used as 1st its good for 2000 watt systems, and thats right off of the Powermaster site. Its also used as a start up battery for many honda/acura and other vehicles, honestly I would go with that d5100. 60 ah, 1600 max amps, if you want to go bigger try the D2400, or the D2700, the 2700 and 3100 seem overkill i think for only 1500 watts.

i run powermaster batteries, find a dealer and they might just be nice enough to offer competitors pricing;)

try DC Level 4 XL 18", i have level 3's and they are beefy as hell for a 600 rms driver.

what I find funny are those defending DD, when they are base off each other, and even shipped fromt he same warehouse, thats almost a no brainer.

ive actually taken my aq 1200 apart within the first 10 mins actually. And the Aq 1200 is based off of DD M1a, now you have me there, I HAVE NOT taken apart or got my hands on DD amps, but from what Dj has told me and pics, and ratings, they look very similar.

So I guess your calling the digital design amps garbage too, come on for the price they are great, good customer service, etc. Everytime i see Aq brought up, M5 always has to put it down, give it a chance lol not all of us can save up for 3 months and buy $600 sundown.

20 will be good, 50 overkill, 100 insane and $$$
