You shouldn't push this subject anymore... exactly, this was never ment to be a daily set up, it was a burp box turning into a musical tune and it worked well. this was NOT a daily played for a long time system, maybe 10-30 seconds on the road MAX. I would not suggest running at half ohm for your everday normal guy driving aorund banging constanly. its just not efficient....

ill post the exact same video without the background music and let you hear just camera distortion and car flex, is that what people want? lol

with kicker 1200, 143.2 at 32 hz with sundown 3k, 145.3 at 32 hz

sub forward usually gains about .1 or so, off an on, it sounds better facing back. plus i was hung over when doing tests so i didnt want to do any heavy lifting, lol. but no, i will probly never seal the trunk off. port fires to driver side

any reason why the subs cant fire up?

pictures or it didnt happen , and dont think about finishing anything untill you know you like the outcome of the enclosure, it could jus tbe total ass and youll want to rip it out. never know.

what your dimensions you have to work with?

x2!!! its vehicle and install dependant. also frequency, there are just too many factors to play into this. and yea, 156 is like crazyness loud compared to a 143.... lol

i dont get it, if you have a jeep why is this your only option for a box?

i wouldnt build the box in the car unless your going to fire front, just cause you wont get proper ventalation into the cabin, basically choking the sub in the trunk. meaning all the sound will be in the turnk and not as much as there could be will be in the cabin.

whats the car and what are you trying to fit in it? i would build what you can outside the car, then put it in the trunk and assemble, make it double layer where you would assemble and then make the layer overlap each other so you can screw them together.

price?

so the thread must be a 10-24 or 10-32? im going to see if we have any 12-24 set screws laying around. thats a pretty uncommon size for our shop so i doubt it. thanks everyone

Hey Jacob, What thread can i re-tap my SAZ-3000 to on the speaker outputs? i guess i stripped the thread completly on one of them and was wondering what the next size thread up i could tap it to? or just let me know the size it is now and i can figure it out. Thanks, Anton Miller

use a 4 inch aero port around 16 inches long flare to flare and like 1.5 cubes, port up subs up works well int he 2007+ models that ive played with. not sure on the yearof yours, but in other years, sub up port to the side for low power applications worked well.

i work at a machine shop, so i have all sorts of taps and dies at my disposal, and i can order any sized set screws i need.

Still working on several things : 1) Foam packing tooling 2) Final testing of all sizes to verify performance / parameters 3) Final coil details with Precision in the USA 4) Selling stock of Z v.2 models I am still thinking May to June next year. all i want are the spiders with the integrated leads. im not sure, but these arent on the current zv2 12"s are they? can i get a zv2 custom with these new spiders? No, they aren't on the current Z v.2 -- they use round tied down leads. I will not have these parts in stock until the Z v.3 are in production. darn.... ok, will the Zv2 be able to be reconed to Zv3s? trying to figure my stuff out for next year, really want the integrated leads lol Other than coils I can interchange the parts. So you v.2 could get the spider, cones, dust cap, etc from a v.3 but will retain a v.2 coil. sweet! that makes me feel alot better about ordering these Zv2's in the next month or so.
