Is 3.75^3@35 too small for a pair of LI's?

should work if you use aeroports, and more power. i would shoot for 4 cubes flat @ 32hz

    IA 6.4 - 4 Channel Amp!

so yeah i saw a post with some pics of the new IA 20.1 and i want one now, so when is the 6.4 gonna be ready? and whats an idea on how much they will cost?
  5. holy off topic batman lol. yes this unit has active capabilities, says so on the chassis with a note attached to it. the dc converter is to regulate the power iirc, since the internal amp is very powerful, it draws power and can affect the unit if its not powered correctly. well i finally got it turned on and wow, this is truly an elegant head unit. the gloss trim and face is amazing, the screen is clear and bright, my 780mp was super bright. the menu is easy to use, just a bit tricky at first. i played a song and i have to get use to the volume, since my 780mp gone up to 45, i dont know what this can do. also certain tracks did not sound the same, actually not loud at all, then again i havent touched none of the settings. and the crossovers are disabled at the moment, since you need to activate it when the head unit is off. but i read through the manual and things are getting cleared. gonna play with it some more tonight. also i had a gltich, my battery died on my car and the headunit did not want to turn on, so after jumping it and resetting the radio, it worked and so far so good. will post pi

    SeconD skin Product REVIEW

Agreed. Ive used the older edead v1 in 2 different cars over the last 5 years and never had a problem. I'll keep using it until im given a reason not to. Matter of fact im going to order some more(edead 120 and some teklite) for my new truck within the month. Ive heard great things about 2nd skin as well and im sure it does a great job, but ill stick with edead for now. Me too, and just so that we are clear, I know Damplifier is the best out there, not taking anything away or trying to prove anything bad about them. Just want to prove that eDead is not cheap, thats it. Agreed. Ive used the older edead v1 in 2 different cars over the last 5 years and never had a problem. Exaclty, people are referring to a 4 yr old test, maybe longer. Also this review just said that Damplifier is better all around (whcih we know is true), but looks to me like the eDead is still in tact and hasnt moved.

    SeconD skin Product REVIEW

well mines is still in tact for almost 2 years, and it has not melted off. and my question was not answered, was it v1 or v1se2? and i am not saying edead is up to par with second skin. just saying its not crap, and most of the people that talk chit about it never had it, they just jumped on the bandwagon of nuthuggers and bashed it even more. if someone has a piece, a small piece of damp pro and want to see a review, send me a pm and i will put both to the test. a non biased review!!

    SeconD skin Product REVIEW

wiat, so you used the regular edead v1? or the v1se2? if not get the v1se2, i have tons of it, actually the roll i have has been sitting in the garage all winter long. i would like to do a review on damp pro and v1se2, and it wont be biased cause edead has a bad rep and second skin does not. and i am in no way out to bash second skin, just to prove that edead is not cheap and it works perfectly.

    Lethal Injection 12" + AQ1200D

i wouldnt personally, then again my LI is laughing at my 750rms i am giving it. death row will be ftw, or a pair of LI should do the trick, with that power. you can do a 4 cube box with a pair of 6" aeorports @ 32hz
  16. na_rsx

    box for 187's

what kind of car? if a hatch or truck, do subs up and port rear, and hell do aeroports, (2) 4" ports @ 32hz will be nice!!!

    Local builder in Indpls,IN

would of tuned it lower, maybe 32hz, just my opinion!! so total cubic feet is 7.0, thats pretty dead on with the specs from the site. wait till they start breaking in and loosening up, its gonna get louder and sound more clearer!!

    12" Flatlyne Review

^ they are rated @ 750rms, but like all IA subs, they can handle more!!!!!!!!!!!! Man I really want to try one of these out, I sent Nick and email on caraudio.com, cant wait for his response
  23. it sure does, that was a thick microfiber towel
  24. Well first off thanks to Nick @ Incriminator for taking care of me, awesome guy, replied to all my pm's and was very helpful. Well I got this sub because sqhertz got one and had nothing but good things to say about this sub. And before the LI I had a FI Q, in a 2.5 @ 32hz box by the man, BJ Fisher. So I thought why not, my Nine.5 is only putting out 600rms @ 1ohm (underrated) and the FI Q needs 1000rms to really shine. The Lethal Injection only needs 600rms, which is perfect in my case, and my amp really puts out around 700-750rms @ 1 ohm. So I took the plunge, bought the sub, got it pretty quick from Incriminator, and when I got it, it was dead sexy. I love the fact that it comes fully loaded stock, so you get all the new features without coming out of the pocket. So I figured the box I had was good enough for the sub, so swapped them out, and wow. Even for being a brand new sub (super stiff and needs to break in) and lowered gain, the sub was loud. Songs before with the FI Q never sounded so good, I was completely amazed at how loud it was. And after a hour or so of breaking it in, I noticed it got louder and louder and sounded so much clear. Guess the SQ finally kicked in, well I have fell in love with the sub. I had my share of subs, and this one is definitely the best. If I had 1000rms or more, I would have kept the Q, but I love my Nine.5 amp. So thanks Nick and the crew at Incriminator for making a kick ass sub, and products, and providing awesome support. You got a customer for life now, and I will praise these products. Pics be found here, cant edit my original post http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=360008 So overall, this is my rating: Sound Quality: 8/10 (FI Q sounded clearer, but the IA is still stiff) Power handling: 10/10 (its rated @ 600rms, but can take much more) Low Frequency Extension: 8/10 (hits the lows with authority) Output: 10/10 (for a single 12" with 700rms, its insanely loud) Build Quality: 10/10 (its beautiful, much more attractive than the FI Q) Total: 46/50
