    Car was broken into last night.... smashed up my dash & took my AVI-D310 screen. Stupid fucks, can't even use it without the brain. Idiots.

    That is bullshit - I hope they are caught and their fingers are cut off.

    Someone I know is going to be buying a '90 Mazda Miata and wants me to look at it and test drive it for them (they are currently still in Iraq), anyone know of any specific problems that occur with that car to be looking for? *Besides the fact it is a Miata...*

    One of the big problems is you are going to either feel like a chick or a homosexual.

    Aside from that, if it leaks oil from the drain pan plug it could be a simple gasket issue instead of a major headache. Pay close attention to engine noise - there were issues with the valves tapping/clicking at some point if I remember correctly. I hope it is priced less than $2500.

    I need smartphone advice. I found out today I am able to end my current contract early without penalty.

    Do I get a Treo or Blackberry that is already on the market? Or do I wait until August 24th and get the HTC Touch Diamond (http://www.htc.com/www/product.aspx?id=46278) .... or wait for the HTC Touch Pro (http://www.htc.com/www/product.aspx?id=49518) ... or whenever Blackberry releases whatever they are going to release (November/December) ...

    I need something I can keep my daily schedule on, appointments, get my e-mail ... the basics.

    I saw that same Charger again today. Man I really like that car. If I could find one like that for about $10K, I'd scoop it up, beat the hell out of it, and sell it for $15.

    On the pictures note, anyone have any suggestions for a cheap and fairly basic digital camera? I do not need many features ... simple video is pretty much standard now so that will work just fine. Prefer a LI battery I guess instead of burning through AA's ...

    Are there really many differences at around the $100-$150 price point ... seem to be plenty of Sony, Samsung, Nikon, Canon, and Olympus in that range.
