  1. With that box being sealed for those JL subs it would not be too small of airspace and if the box is divided for the subs or running all off one amp there would be no cancellation issues either. This style box was built back in the day for a PPI demo vehicle and it sounded very nice.

  2. I am looking for show promotors in different states for official Street Beatz events. If you are interested or know someone who would be please have them contact me at jvdonaghy22@gmail.com or call me at 919-604-8661 between 6pm-midnight Eastern time M-F or anytime on the weekends.

  3. Well the classes are now set and instead of using 4 ohm ratings since there are too many Grey areas I am using rated maximum rms power at the amps lowest rated ohms. That way a 1 ohm 1000 watt amp is still in the same class as a 2 ohm 1000 watt amp. This will also make people see the difference between the swap meet power amp they bought compared to a real rated power amp in the same class and should bring those customers to the retail store instead for their next purchase especially if the retailer explains why his B.S rated amp just lost to the real power rated amp.The classes are more geared to the normal customer more than the bigger powerhouse systems but still allowing big dog systems "that can play music" to compete as well

as you can see the smaller classes are a lot tighter for power and the large classes are spread out since most organizations have plenty of classes for the big guys we are doing the opposite. It will be 30 seconds of music with two separate mic locations being used at the same time. One mic 3 inches above the dash in the middle of the windshield and the second between the headrest. This will eliminate specific build being loud in one location. The two scores will be averaged for the final score (140 on the dash 130 between the headrest= 135 DB). Also $5 of every entry for all shows will be saved up for a total pot of money to be divided at each state finals to all the 1st place winners of each consumer class and maybe pro classes as well, all depending on total pot amount. Also all classes are 12 volt classes with the exception of the two 16 volt classes with battery limitations for each class. Website will be fully up and running soon www.streetbeatzorg.com any questions regarding this please feel free to ask and thanks for all the good and bad thoughts regarding this.

  4. I was just wondering I notice a lot of direct sales here on the forum and on alot of other forums with great prices. But my question is does this not cut the throat of the dealers by selling direct to consumers and even the ones who go to a retailer to purchase it just seems to be taking money out of the dealers pockets. There is nothing wrong with selling direct but I would just think you are either a direct online manufacturer of a dealer based company?

  5. The Audioque components are a great value if you put those in your doors just dynamat behind the speakers and around where the speakers would be mounted and that will help the midbass response for your components a lot. The difference from sound deadening to not doing it is night and day with the sound.

  6. Most of the made in America sub companies use chinese motors that are magnetized here in the states. DD actually uses American steel and fully assembles there speakers in Oklahoma. Every part possible that can be American made is but I am almost certain no other companies use American steel and fully assemble the motors in house. And yes Image is not American made

  7. I have been running DD subs since 1997 when they first came out and have been a dealer since 1999 for them. I hold 9 DB Drag World Championships using their subs and have only ever blown 1 speaker in my comp vehicles. The subs are a great price and still are the only speakers that are completely built in house included complete motor assembly. Some speakers are louder than the DD from the get go but the DD's always outlast the others. I ran the same subs in my street max van for 4 strait years and that included 2 deathmatches. While all other competitors were blowing subs left and right. If you buy a sub less expensive from the start but have to buy 1 or two recones in the same amount of time you are still using the same 3500 subs you will have paid more in the end than the DD's. Just my 2 cents
