I am right down the road here in Spring. I have had experience with Mobile One and Bico Stereo right off of 45 south of Woodlands Parkway. Bico is great for little last minute install stuff that I always forget to order and noone else carries in stock, and the main guy in there seems to know his stuff pretty good. Plus they carry some pretty good stuff like Arc, Memphis, and RE. Mobile One is more of the chain store with some of the major brand names. Both are good just to go in, look around and get some ideas.

Did you have 1 18? lol and do you have any designs or anything I could look at? What was the best sub/port orientation? Yeah I ran a RE SX 18 for a little bit. It was in a 5.5cu.ft. box tuned to 32. The 2 15s were older Memphis subs, well there were new back then. They were the SHPs if I remember correctly(this was back in 02-03ish). I wish I had thought to take pictures back then. I never even thought that I may want to look back at these setups one day. Oh to be young and stupid again. Did you ever meter them? and could you do a hairtrick? lol Na never did, there were not very many opprotunities(shows and stuff) at that time in the sticks of south MS.

site states about 85w RMS.... Sorry didnt look before I typed. Even still, that spec is horribly meaningless. It will have nothing to do with how loud they get, nor does it help you pick out an amp for them. Power handling specifications on mids are completely deceiving without stating what enclosure size and what frequency. You could spec it any way you want otherwise. Then of course even more useless when you realize that on the same drivers you won't hear a difference between 85w and 100w anyways the spec obviously does nothing but confuse the situation. So I could use this set with Mmats SQ2150 and not have too much power on them? I am just looking for a new comp set for my 02T/A with fully deadend doors.

Memphis and Mmats have always been my go to choice for amps. Premier and Nakamichi head units have always been good to me. Audiocontrol never dissapoints.

I have had quite a few different setups in my day and a 2 15s were by far my favorite. Either way you will do some damage in your ranger

Got here from sundownaudio.com. Was simply doing research for an amp and one thing led to another, and another, and another... I took a break from car audio and was mainly focused on home equiptment for a while but this site has recharged my car audio bug.

I cannot seem to find anything that has to do with returns on their website(maybe I am just missing it). I would not really expect them to take returns seeing as how the drivers are made to order, but now I have a brand new Q10 sitting in the box that I cannot use. If anybody has any idea wether or not they take returns, please let me know.

I hope so. Just glad I didnt get in too big of a rush and slap the Q in a box and put power to it just to hear it. So atleast it is still BNIB.

I wish I could have gotten that far to know how loud it is. This thing looks like a beast.

I would sell it but I cannot make a thread in the for sale section because I do not have a high enough post count. May just have to put it on ebay. I cant use it because I have to get rid of my truck. My company gave me a truck allowance every month to pay my note/insurance and all that good stuff. But now they are taking that allowance away and I have to use a company owned truck, and I cannot modify their trucks. The timing of them giving me this news could not have been worse. I had just finished installing my SAX1200, Audiocontrol LC6, and a JL W3(for use until I had time to fiberglass a box for the Q). So now I have all this equiptment that I am going to have to sale that is now just a few days "used". SUCKS

I am going to be ordering a 10" FI Q in the next couple of days. It will be going in a sealed box with .57 cu. ft. or airspace after displacement. I will probably be running it with an older Memphis 1000d I have laying around. I know I need to add the high QTS option to it, but should I add the cooling option as well? This may actually be a stupid question but does the cooling option add any length to the mounting depth? My box is only 7" deep so I dont have any room to play with being that the mounting depth for the Q is already 6.5". Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.
