  1. then that's somewhat interesting.

Having car on with a test tone can gain u 2-2.5db typically.

oh ps... next time u go to a show.. i gots some music for you, :) automatic increase :)

u need a song with a constant focus on a single tone with a rhythmic beat in between to be legal... i gots u covered.

Songs like this are more efficient on your amp's current draw for a sustained period of a couple of good full tilt seconds without it drawing extra power for useless frequencies that will only heat your subs up and drop your score.

iKNOW IF YOUR REFFERING TO MY USACI RESULTS LAST LAS VEGAS SHOW WWW.CARAUDIOEVENTS.COM " BUT I USED DJ MAGIC MIKE FOR MY SB1. AND A TONE ON MY 601-1800. AND IM ALWAYS DOWN FOR SOME NEW MUSIC!!! I GOT LOTS OF OLD SCHOOL BASS CDS IF YOU NEED ANY TRACKS!!

  2. Dude, I know.

I know its the BLs because I checked the youtubes lol.

And OP - what kind of mic are you metering your setup because from what I see in the videos, it doesn't look to be a TermLab.

ACTUALLY THE OLD SET UP IS ON YOUTUBE IVE BEEN SLACKING ON POSTING NEW VIDS. BUT THE NEW SUBS ARE THE BTL'S EXTRA BEEFED BUT THEY ARE LABLED NOW THE NEW BL!! I GOT THEM BEFORE THEY CAME OUT IM FRIENDS WITH THE OWNER" I FEEL SPECIAL!! LOL AND THE MIC IS AN SPL METER IT IS ACCURATE TO A SOLID 150.0 NO VARIENCE BETWEEN IT AND TERMLAB, GREAT FOR THE PRICE!! THEN I JUST GO TO A BUDDYS AND TERMLAB FOR THE FINE TUNNING.

  3. try sticking with 1 size box and using an adjustable port setup. i was told the easiest way to do this was to use pvc. start long and cut ur way down until u start losing dbs.

i TRIED THAT WITH THAT SECTION WHERE THERE WERE 5 DIFFRENT BOXES. LOWER SIDE OF THE POST JUST DIDNT PUT ALL THEM DOWN...

PS IM IN DOWNTOWN CHICAGO FOR THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS!! WOULD LOVE TO GET A VIDEO OF YOUR RIDE IF YA HAVE THE TIME!! 702 573 6384 HIT ME UP MIKE

    boxtunned to 32hz 145.6db 5.4 cbs

all boxes are vented box style subs firing up.

    box tunned to 38hz 3-3'' aeros 4.0 cubes 143.5db

    boxtunned to 45hz 3-3" aeros 4.0 cubes 139.0 db

subs up ports back also tried firing to left side of car then right no change all recorded loses??????

    any help will be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    thanks,

  5. It all depends! but i run my 2 10's @ 2000rms and do street beat and pound the block quite a bit. but im tuned to37hz and i play a little bit of everything. i don't always run full tilt but when i do the subs are seeing close to 5000wrms its all about what ya want out of the subs if your a baby burper id put up to 3000 a sub. but defiantly get all the options.

also clean power is the key NO distorted power!!!!!!

  6. My amp goes into protect on hard notes with bass kranked as soon as i get close to the 150's the amp goes into protect....?????? dont know if its heat droping my load to low or what but its getting frustrating. im wired to 1.7 amp fosgate 1ohm stable.

  7. We are keeping very true to form and popping up with something brand new to the industry with no forum buzz or hype. Allow me to introduce the new power house in motor technology known very simply and only as Supergauss; A radical new take on ultra high Gauss motors.

    101_0250.jpg

We’ll start off with a little bit of background information about the development of this technology. This is the first generation of Supergauss motor technology and was developed and licensed specifically for industrial applications. After the termination of the two-year contract with our clients and them phasing out of Supergauss I and into Supergauss II and III, we are now offering Supergauss I to the Car Audio market. Pictured above is the Patent Pending Supergauss technology that we’ve transformed into the car audio scene. This very unique design and specific arrangement of steel and ferrite results in a one of a kind ultra high gauss motor. We’ve been testing the past few months and we feel that this will be a great addition to the Ascendant Audio product lineup and should prove very potent in the SPL and extreme daily driving arenas. Our first product to be featuring this technology will be the new *** Series of subwoofers (making a radical departure from the original design we had intended for the *** and as previously pictured).

With 40-60% more motor strength in Supergauss motor structure vs the same parts count in a conventional arrangement, Supergauss will be shrinking conventional motor structures or greatly extending the flux densities for SPL applications.

Stay tuned for more info :)
