Hybrid Car Charging System with Audio Setup
djphilly replied to Lucky 76's topic in Advanced Discussion
I believe the hybrid tohoe actually gets alot of its charge from the wheel. the wheels and brake system have a "generator" on them and they charge the batteries also when you are driving. pretty interesting -
humm anyone know where i can get them rubber things? But some of the holes are realy big. so i need somthing to work. Should i put rubber pipe tubing around them at the holes? I would try to get some wire loom and black tape it all around. that may help with protection. the factory does the same thing with under the hood wiring.

kinda, theres rubber calking around the holes all the cable is exposed to the elements. kinda dangerous if consider, rain, puddles, road hazzards, etc. are u talking about the runs being under my truck? Alot of people do it. I have 8 runs from front to back. No way its going to fit under my carpet I said the same thing. to each is own.

Lanzar..... I know I know
djphilly replied to holley2346's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
my two cents. Lanzar is flea market brand. there is a reason they are sold so cheaply at flea markets. its because they are made cheaply. you get what you pay for. -

YOU GUYS HAVE TO SEE THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY. there is a channel on youtube that is dedicated to stop people from having systems in their cars. there is this congressman who's work is dedicated to stop the "boom cars" http://www.youtube.com/user/noboomcars There is videos galore in there from alot of different cities about their noise laws and news reports about them and everything. I spent hours watching these videos one night and I was baffled.

Im going to check into this unless I find one in the DFW Area first, good info. No problem. not sure, but I think they also will pay for you to get MECP certified if you do the audio courses

not sure if this is true or not, but doesn't working out at that early age stunt your growth?

Are you running wire under the car through the wheel well with no protection? If so, I wouldn't think that is a good idea. my two cents

Whats the most trouble you got into for playing your system? xD
djphilly replied to loveeemachine's topic in General Audio
He probably was talking about whatever song your were jamming too, but it seems to me like you started braging (like he look how loud it can go, watch out for stunts like those it could leave you systemless one day). so true. most of the time the ones that get you are ones that know your vehicle from around the way or people that actually know you. kinda messed up -
how do u feel about walls or non wall setups???
djphilly replied to sblazer's topic in General Audio
