    143mph im my turbo hatch 1/4 mile. faster if i keep going only limited by gearing at that point

    lol, 170mph is about 275km/t.

    Here's a M5 E34 (1989–1995) that does 290 km/t / 180mph:

    Here's a evo doing 265 km/t / 165 mph:

    and here's a evo doing 270 km/t / 168 mph:

    That's original evos, if you tuned them a little bit they go easily above 300 km/t / 186 mph:

    until i am personally sitting in a stock evo going that fast, i will never believe it.

    when i think about the next setup i want, I just dont know what i want because i listen to a lot of double bass and rap. Is there a type of enclosure that has acoustically accurate response appropriate for rock but also has the ability to get low? low meaning like 30 hertz ish. Haven't heard many ported setups other than my own on rock, and they always sound like shit compared to a sealed box. But I don't actually know if its because of my box, or because its an spl sub, etc. anyone have any advice?

    EDIT: I'm talking about subs just incase anybody didnt realize this

    does anyone else here have or had issues with simply being able to fall asleep at a reasonable time? A typical night i stay up til 4 to 6am, simply because i just dont get tired. Most people normally say "well just lay there with your eyes shut", but ive always just never been able to fall asleep unless im actually tired. The only way i can ever fall asleep before 2am is if i run off 5 hours of sleep all day, which sucks ass to do. I feel like i can never get the right amount of sleep to be tired at the end of the day; its always either lack of sleep, barely getting through the whole day so I can fall asleep at the right time to wake up for school, or oversleeping and staying awake from anywhere from 4am to 8am. I work out every day, have tried over the counter sleep aids, tried background noise and music, and nothing seems to help. Idk what to do... I just got done laying in bed with my eyes shut for about 2 and a half hours, and I still feel wide awake. Its shitty. Does anyone have any decent advice for me? Anything is greatly appreciated...

    lol are you serious? this scrub tries to dis and he cant even get his facts straight. Dextromethorphan (DXM) is what gets you fucked up in tripple c's. nobody tries to get addicted, dont be such an unsupportive ass.

    Those rating seem like bull. Sorry but doing twice the power with 2.4 volts and higher THD dont seem possible. I dont want to be a disbeliever or trash on the brand but that's a big jump. Id gladly run 2 4500Ds over it any day of the week.

    lol thats not a fair comparison. two 4500s new would cost way more than an AQ10k brand new. im pretty sure almost everyone on here would also rather have two 4500s, but its just not a fair comparison.

    The 10K is $1999 new, they aren't far in price. The two 4500's is a MUCH better choice for not much more.

    It's fucktarded to make an amp like this, another smart move by AQ in their infinite wisdom.

    There is no reason at ALL neodymium motors are any less "musical" than their ferrite counterparts.

    i didnt mean because of the motor, i meant because i thought it might be designed to be an uber spl machine that might be aimed for more for burps than music

    Not an audible differance, If you are refering to damping.

    yeah. i thought the damping factor goes up as impedance goes up, and the total harmonic distortion goes down as impedance goes up. so i thought that at higher impedance it implied better sound... so i take it im wrong?
