Need to know your budget. "As cheap as possible" and "Cheaper than Kicker" are not answers. State a dollar amount. Need to know what power @ 2ohms you are looking for. Need to know if you have any space/size constraints. Need to know if there are any features you require the amplifier to have. Would be helpful to know what speakers you were using. Would be helpful to know what your electrical system consists of, or if there will be any upgrades to the electrical system and what those are.

there is no warrenty available for the BTL. There is a waiting period for them right now... Then why did I get a warranty slip with mine? That's for us to know who you are when you blow it and send it in. There is no warranty on the BTL's...only for manufacturing defect...which..really...that's all thats on the other subs anyhow. Speakers don't blow themselves, some degree of stupidity has to insue. To the OP..if this is your first stereo..I'd highly suggest into looking into something smaller first. You are trying to hop into a top fuel funny car..and you just got your regular drivers license and you are expecting to be able to drive the fuel car... There's a learning curve that goes with this stuff, and as much as I hate to say it...people see stuff on Youtube and think "Hell he put 6000 watts to his BTL's I can do it too!"..and they turn them inside out and burn them up 2 days later.
  3. Betters yet, a proper front stage. Just because you have a BTL doesn't mean you need multiple sets of mids and highs.

out of curiosity, how did you end up with them for free? Anything for free sounds good to me
  5. If you have Dual 2 ohm subs and already bought the Audioque 2200, you bought the wrong amplifier. You got bad advice in your other thread. You could keep it, though, and wire it to a 2 ohm net load and get 1300 watts, aka 650 per sub. You need either a 2000 @ 2 ohm amplifier or two 1000 @ 1 ohm amps. To wire the subs for a final 2 ohm load, either wire each sub's voice coils in parallel then the two subs in series, or each sub's coils in series then the two subs in parallel. 6. Any sub with 1000 watts will be plenty to keep up with your front stage, or in actuality overpower it by quite a bit. No difference in using a DMM with high level inputs on the amp since you'll be measuring the output side of the amplifier, after the signal has already been adjusted by the amp.
  7. Speakers are stupid, they do what they're told. It will play whatever notes you throw at it no matter how much power is going to it, it doesn't care it just wants to play
  8. I have emailed him 2 times about getting 4 of the 10''s but i haven't got an answer, this is kinna strange that he's not answering.
