Well, i'm going to say this just to make it clear and easy- Yes, we did give him a hard time based on what he liked doing. MANY OTHER forums' members also gave him a hard time as well. His Obituary states he had long time Chronic Depression problem. Now, we do not know what type of problems members have anywhere as we treat everyone equally. Now, i know we wish he hadn't done what he had done and i'm sure members' actions had little do to with it based on his family problems.... But, to make a point- Words do hurt and his last posts on one forum was a redundant post several times in multiple threads due to someone pissing him off. As in .. Bullying over the internet. With as childish it may sound, if you have mental condition(s), that's all it takes. So for the sake of what we know now, in respect of his past, let's try to remember this to prevent any future potentialpossible negative feelings to those sensitive members out there. I'm all for having fun with my funny comments and such but I do not want to see anyone take it literal or personal and i'm sure others do not either. He will be missed as anyone would be who we once knew.

Are you talking about the fuses in the amp? If so time to send it to db-r electronics to get it checked. You could also pull the back cover off and look in there if you know what to look for.

Question #1- depends on your enclosure size, enclosure type and tuning Question #2- Most people i've seen on here run speaker wire to their zcons. Some others run DMMs to them when they screw them up and others run CA glue on them when they are rebuilding them. Question #3- I can't answer this one.. just gotta sit back and watch Titanic a couple hundred times back to back and then.... They'll be there.

..you still have 500 watts on a speaker that has significantly more suspension then 500 watts will ever do anything to... If I remember correctly I spoke to you via email about this 500 watts on a Q and i told you I did not suggest you spending the money on the Q and doing it because it will not be anywhere near its full potential output wise...but you insisted that it would be fine. What you are trying to do is get to 4 seconds at the race track at over 300 mph by using a skate board and a leaf blower duct taped to the back of it...and that is not going to work out so well..there is no replacement for displacement, you have the smallest amount of displacement that we make, and half of the rated power that we suggest and you are expecting significantly more then what you should expect especially with the way the suspension is built on them. In order to do what you want to do...(4 seconds at the race track at 300+ mph) you need one of these. Bottom line...
