Looking forward to the build! I just put two 15" SSA Icons In my Dakota, box is 7.2 cubic feet tuned to 32hz via a 5x20.25" slot port if I remember right. Kills the lows and has serious punch on rock etc. Got Ram Designs to Design it.

No, if you tune the box at the same frequency your car resonates at, you'll get a large increase at that narrow frequency band. For SQ you want a really flat frequency response, not big spikes.

Never really cared for Alpine Type R series subs.

I have always tailored my tuning to my woofers T/S, not the resonant tuning of my cabin. What happens when you roll your windows down? What if you have more passengers? Surely it will change the cabin tuning, at least to my knowledge. Tuning your enclosure also depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Higher tuning, like your 40hz, are usually for SPL applications, as lower tuning is usually for SQ. That is how I have always understood things. Works out for me, but I could be wrong.

Get the JLs. One of the best drivers made. The Type Rs aren't bad, but nowhere neat the level of the W6v2.

I would do a simple ported enclosure over a band pass for either set of woofers.

He did eat that last night. All jokes aside, since your kids eat like you do, what have you done to make it so you didn't eat so much 'shitty' food? I ask because I keep finding myself going for crap frood for little to no reason besides convenience.........Any suggestions? Also, I will be making Sauce and maybe Cheesecake Sunday. Anyone find themselves in South Arizona feel free to come by. J Up until a couple years ago I was like this. Hell, up until a month ago, I still ate sugar and drank soda like it was nothing. Since changing my diet to about 85% protein and cutting out all candy, pop, chips, etc, I am sleeping better, lost 8 lbs (not that I needed to), and have a bit more energy. My system is still trying to catch up, but it's getting there. My sweet tooth is almost gone; hell sometimes I wonder how I ever ate a lot of the shit I did, and wonder why I stopped eating a lot of the natural foods I use to.

People that eat shit food for an entire lifetime and develop some medical condition are fucking stupid. How can one expect any less? If you don't care about your body then it's hard to make a diet change. On the contrary those that care about their body find it relatively easy to eat healthy. The next step is deciding what's healthy, and what's not, and that's my cue to step off the soapbox before some asshole throws bullshit in my face.

Thought I read somewhere it would be possible for "zombie" like symtoms if rabies was allowed to progress to a certain level. Obviously not like the zombies we see in movies but would be crazy people trying to eat people. Also the cdc started doing zombie preparedness since zombies were so popular, so they figured if people prepared for them they would have most of the essentials if some other disaster had occured.

I still have a Stang and just did a Trick Flow h/c/i on it, can't get it totally out of my system and really don't want too...just had to learn moderation. Yeah I was able to make a few good trades and wound up with two XCONs! My seats do not fold down, so I am going to make something custom to where I can fold them up and down. I was only going to port through the rear deck if I ended up with 15's. The two XCON 12's will fire into the cabin as well as the port. I have one 12 in the trunk now in a box that I had laying around on ~900 watts and I am very happy. I haven't run two 12's in my car in a long time and I'm excited. I can't wait until I get the time to finish the enclosure for the two of them.
