  1. if its not miss alighted then get some expoxy with the mixing nozzle and fix it for now. if it works it works.. if he dont it dont... cant mess it up any more!
  2. The rated power is thermal not mechanical.
  3. Seriously though, Phantom, you should stick around and discuss. Hopefully, Jon's childish posts didn't scare you away.
  4. to the forum!! You've made a fantastic choice on your sub and the RF amp should be a great match IMO. You're correct, D4 coils will be needed, wired in parallel, for a final 2 ohm load on the amp. As for the box specs, they're right HERE on the SSA site on the enclosure recommendations tab, but your thoughts of 2.5cuft NET tuned to 32hz is accurate and the sub should do very well with it. SSA's optimal recommendations are from 2.5cuft to 3cuft. Post up the dims and we can help you out with a basic design, no problem.
  5. payment plans??? (seriously)
  6. You can figure no more than a quarter at the most of the going rate of gold. Along with grain I also deal in bulk minerals and bulk metal and rare earth metals. Removing the impurities is and expensive process. Your chain is only about 58.5 percent gold. Then you have to factor in profit. The gold burr will need to make a profit and the refinery will also need to make a profit. Gold may be 1,600 an ounce but the refinery may only pay the gold buyer 800 due to the fact they will have to refine it and then also be able to sell it to make a profit. If they pay market price then they wouldn't be able to make a profit.
  7. Thats cus you have to know how to do it right. If its a flat out burp hold 1-2 secs and let go of doors trunk etc. If they are rolling do the same once they max out. Seen quite a few people gain doing this. Just gotta know when to let go.
  8. not necessarily i lose a full DB by having people hold my trunk and my doors shut.... i guess she needs to breath lol @ comparing a lincoln trunk car with 2 subs to a walled civic on 16k watts Big Jon was only responding to Shizzzon's comment in regards to panel flex equals more or less DB on the meter. Swift's truck would also lose db when he had a brace team.

  10. No matter how obvious.. Well, i'd like to see Ethos in there somewhere, hehe. Seriously, name of company, all contact info, motto\pledge, etc.., TS parameters, suggested box volumes for ALL applications, not general recommendations. Some response graphs (this will help the marketing more since you are giving the customer something no one else does) Coil configuration diagrams Troubleshooting section Explanation of TS parameters Enclosure building tips and suggestions to use Pre-Troubleshooting- teach the customer what to look for before something bad happens.

  12. HOLY SHIT! He could gain several dbs by sealing that door completely! That's insane!
  13. YOu HAVE to watch this tim. ITs your car!!
  14. i know it's possible but wouldnt the amp be shut off or in protect by that time? At the very least, there would be no sound output, that's a given, but at the same time.. if the amp no longer works.. can't really blame the sub now can we, It would be in protect if it had that circuitry. Then it would cost more and these $4-500 2000 watt amplifiers just don't have that. And if they did, it would be the cheapest protection possible. There is a reason cheap products are cheap. Of course, there are also a lot of overpriced cheap products too. The industry is skarred with junk.
  15. And Jon, chill, seriously.
  16. The power handling does not allow you to use a smaller enclosure, the smaller enclosure requires more power to obtain the same output as an otherwise more efficient (read larger) enclosure. So the only thing that makes your driver different is the neo?
  17. when i had walmart subs my mirrors wouldn't even move
  18. oh looky there MR phantomz learned how to use the negative button! keep marking this shit negative ill shit on all your post.
  19. looks like a cpu problem try re-installing windows with a destructive system restore as windows could be corrupted and causing the cpu to malfunction you may have to get a fresh copy of windows cd/download as the copy your laptop would use 2 reinstall could be corrupted as well just a thought since the smart kids in the class haven't fixed it yet edit: how hot does the laptop feel when you see the blue screen? you could have a fan/cooling problem i would consider the cpu fan failing since the laptops older
  20. Who cares if the company is following the market or not? The only to care should be Phantom Soundz and or other subwoofer making companies. Calling someone an idiot for not following the market is stupid. Sundown wasn't following the market when they decided to design the surround for the Zv4. But its Sundown right? It MUST work! If the neo 8 doesnt work out and the company fails then thats on THEM, but they gave it a shot and i aplaud for that for at least trying something slightly diferent.
