  1. Let's paint your picture similar to the thread. You order starter for your car, install it, drive around for months using said starter every day. You then sell it as A starter, buyer receives it and finds out it's B starter. You get starter back and take it back to the store wanting a refund. What do you think should happen? And BTW, if you don't check your car parts before even buying them, you are a damned fool.
  2. Im no mechanic so I wont go into if you can test a starter outside of a car or not (I would assume you could by connecting power maybe?) Your second point. It woukd be more like: You got your oil changed. You drove it for 2 months and one day noticed you had no oil. Upon inspecting the oil pan you noticed a rock had punctured the pan. But also that the drain plug was missing. Is that the oil changes places fault or yours? How could you prove the loss of oil was mechanics fault for not putting the drain plug back in. or from you hitting a rock etc? I hope im wrong but sounds like hes trying to get compensated back for this mess. Which is entirely his fault for not spending under 20 bucks to make sure he had the right coils. Cus for all we know he could have recieved the correct coils and messed them up with his audiopipe amp
  3. Just a question lantz. If you didnt check out the coils how can you put the blame on wherever you bought the subs from. What if you did get them with 4 ohm coils. How can you prove that? How do we know that you didnt mess up the subs. Sure you shouldnt have to check it but humans make errors. Companies make errors. It happens. If you go to mcdonalds and order a burger with no onions are you just gonna eat the burger assuming it has no onions. Orare you going to check to make sure Iit has no onions .

Because I pay good money for this section and I won't put up with Narcassistic and condisending bullshit here. If the post would have been helpful it would have stayed. But it wasn't, it was the same ole asinine comments that had no bearing on what the OP asked. I have already talked to Aaron about this as I have been getting complaints from friends and clients that I send to this forum. The only members are going to feel welcome is if they are helped. There is a big difference between helping people do the correct thing and being an arseho because people want to do something you find stupid.

Jusf for the record. This a 2 wheel drive truck. He (the owner) has no idea what anything other then concrete roads are lol... He likes it. Im not a hug fan of the rims myslef but I respect what others like. He has the ability now to say he in the only one in the world with an fj on 32's.... that is what he wanted lol
  9. Occasionally the factory will over-print one type of box (D2 or D4) and use a label to correct it -- I am unsure why they would have re-labeled a box and made it wrong; but that appears to be the case here. If we were notified when the product arrived we would have swapped it out right away as it's a factory packaging error. As the product has been re-sold and used for some time at this point there is not much we can do nor is there any more useful life in this discussion; so I will leave it here and close it.
  10. Id be a lil ticked about the subs but you had way too many chances to check things. Why werent you suspicious when you recieved the subs and it had that sticker. Even a decent dmm from radioshack or autoparts store is 20-30 bucks. There is no reason to not have one. Looking at the big pic it seems to be stupid to tempt fate on gear worth 500+$ when such a simple cheap tool would have saved you. Lastly im wondering why the buyer didnt ask for a pic of the readings of the coils. Everyone ask for a pic of them.
  11. No, you're out $500 for your own negligence. Grow up and take some responsibility. Take this as a lesson learned.
  12. You had a lot of chances to check the woofers with the dmm: -When you first received them -When you hooked them up for the first time to check final ohm load -When you uninstalled them -When you sold them before you shipped them out Sundown made the mistake and would of fixed it if you would've caught it earlier, way to late now. Sell them separately and cut your losses.
  13. 1. Buy wire 2. Put your labels on it 3. Double price 4. ??? 5. Profit
  14. maybe it was the choppa that was flying around out there that was shaking windows

  18. Ok.... so what has happened to all the rap music nowadays? Used to be that there were SOME groups who made good heavy bass music without all the cussing, but it seems that every song to play through Slacker or Pandora is FULL of explicit lyrics! Don't get me wrong.... I crank 'em when I don't have my 10 year old with me, but It's pretty much a lost cause trying to find something that he can listen to with me. BTW.... I don't push it too hard with him (half volume) as I don't wanna damage his hearing, but he does love to hear some bass. That being said.... can someone please point me in the direction of some kid friendly bass tunes to listen to with my little man?
