He has a ford focus? Focus, Mustang...same shit right?
  2. They keep me busy as fuck at this new shop. I have my own shop... no shit, my own shop. We have 3 buildings, and after my first day they moved a tech out of the shop I am in, giving me 4 hoists and essentially 2 flat stalls to see if I could work it. I can. But they are keeping me so busy I am exhausted when I get home. I am glad of the pay schedule I chose. They offered me a flat salary or a commission based pay plus a bonus schedule based on gross profit. I figured with 12 lifts and heavy specialties in Euros, Jeeps, and Hybrids (all typically big spending vehicle owners) located right downtown in the business district that the commission/bonus schedule would be a winner. It is. Just in commission I have earned as much in 3 days (Monday was the last day of the previous pay period, and I was learning how they did things, but my 1 day check was pretty nice) as I was making in my last shop in a week. Needless to say, I am very happy about work right now. Fucking tired, but happy.
  3. You neg. rep. me for pointing out a couple of things that could ruin your equipment or start a fire in the truck. That's nice. I'm gone.
  4. I don't know about anybody else, but I wouldn't test a generic on my ballsHaha it was cvs brand and I was feeling cheap. It felt fine for about thirty seconds, and then I started feeling the burn. I'll pay the extra few dollars next time.
  5. 2 days ago so they are in "awaiting payment" stage If I were you I would contract Nick and switch them to dual ones. It will give you more options for amps.
  6. I don't believe I said linear spiders suck. Please find it and quote it for me if I did. I said progressive spiders are better for the application of a ported alignment. As I said before, a spider is a spring. A linear spider will have a smooth curve through its movement. Meaning it gets tighter and tight at a smooth constant rate until its stretched out similar to say an accordion. Now on a progressive spider it gets tighter nice and smooth just like the linear spider up until it hits xmax. Once it hits this point it gets exponentially tighter acting as a break, to help the driver from hitting hard mechanical limits if that makes sense. Given the fact that ported enclosure unload below tuning its good to use a progressive spider as a safety feature.
  7. Got offered the DoD job!!! Just gotta pass the background check, which should be no problem. Also a change in hours not 7 am to 6 pm, pick your 8 hours, but rather 5 pm to 1 am. So for how I sleep that's damn good. J

Not saying anything particularly at you Kyle, but I just think it's funny when certain ppl would speak negatively against 32" rims but would put 32" tires on their trucks. I never understood that.
  9. Straps yes working on getting some, power cable is deff fused i mean who doesn't fuse a power cable with that big o cable? Fused, good. No grommets/strain reliefs, bad. Only a matter of time before you're doing it again. Who doesn't fuse their power cable? More than you think. Watch the news for car fires, there you go. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right the first time. For future referrence, 0gs, isn't big that big of cable. Suit yourself, it's not my truck.
