  1. If A cups need fiberglass, do you use Kevlar for D cups? Shazam.
  2. As soon as a couple of financial quirks get worked out I'm ordering two or three of them.
  3. got one already.waitin on a hoodie now
  4. All that hair, fur, etc looks super ghetto I think. I think its a easy way for people to cover up ugly and laziness honestly. I would bet that why 75% of people do it.
  5. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=search&section=search&do=search&fromsearch=1 Search active and titles only. Literally probably 100 threads about it.
  6. My shop just went paperless and wireless. We are implementing a system that allows everyone to communicate with tablets. We got 10 Nexus 7s and all tie into our server at the shop. All work orders are transferred to the tablet, we can scan the vehicle and it will be sent to the service writers and we can send any other necessary services as well as estimates through the system as well. We can also view all history on the vehicle to help us determine preventative maintenance needs based on times and mileage and we can directly email and text customers with any information and further questions we may have. It is actually more progressive than even the dealership I worked at. Pretty cool shit. I predict problems.
  7. I'm on the fence about it. The guy shore does have some cool stuff. Lots to do before such details....which reminds me, time to order a front lip I found a plastic lip in Germany, 80 euros delivered vs $160 delivered from the US. Plus it arrives fast.
  8. I wanted to know if I cut the hole myself would it be cheaper. They tried to tell me I could not cut quartz and I need special tools. I ask would a diamond bit and cutting wheel work. If so I have it from doing tile work. Wife told me to quit being a dick and just let them do the work.
  9. Did you check Silestone? Yes $65-$89 a square foot. Damn you Aaron! Took the wife over and guess what she picked out! I think you called her and told you. Silestone Coffee Brown 24 sq ft $1800.96 and $310.00 to cut the sink hole. Silestone is nice. Zero maintenance required. Most natural stones have to be sealed annually and can/will stain. Not Silestone, however. Keep your sink cut out. It makes for a nice portable work station.

All things equal that difference in power is only 3db under ideal conditions, probably much less than 3db after you factor in power compression. Realistically it's not a that large of an audible difference. Simple solution is to model both drivers with their intended power and enclosures and look at the differences in SPL and response. It won't be perfect but it will give you a general idea of the output differences and bandwidth those differences occur over. Any amount over "rated power" you supply to the sub won't be enough to make a significant enough audible difference to make it worth risking damaging the driver (especially since you will have voided your warranty). Over powering a sub for daily listening just isn't worth it.
