  1. Well, there's at least a little light. I was just a little curious as the product line was cut down a bit. I was just guessing they were slowly closing product out. As material costs continue to rise, and the race to ZERO with cheaply built off the shelf rebadge brands popping up left and right, it is more and more difficult to compete. Which is making it ever more and more difficult to justify keeping the doors open at American made brands. Hence the slow disappearance of the smaller models of lower profit. I find this so frustrating. So many cheap garbage clone companies popping up lately. It's to the point that any 20 something can order clones and start a company with a new logo and semi-different heatsink and the kiddos blow them like they've developed the latest and greatest thing. That's the problem with our country now. There is NO innovation. The good companies develop great products and then get undercut by small-fry startups that don't even have a buildhouse, just a single rollup where they take orders and wait for a boat/truck to arrive. Thanks for ruining our once great country. I've been complaining about this for YEARS. It takes zero knowledge to start an audio company anymore. Just enough capital to meet minimum order quantities, and then the lemmings on the internet run around circle jerking each other about how this essentially off the shelf OEM product is the best new product on the market, despite the fact there are 10 other nearly identical products already on the market. Most of the time the owners don't know or understand their own products, or much about audio. They just thought it would be cool to start their own company and then get enough people to pimp them on the forums. It's ruining, or probably better stated already has ruined, the industry.
  2. just wondering what u guys think about this look.....
  3. No dont stop. Tell us how you really feel.
  4. Thanks for all the help. I've hired a professional to take care of everything. Once product is sent to them they will begin on everything.
  5. Pretty effin sick. Awesome upgrade. Nice air movement.
  6. the long shag is definitely not my cup of tea. Seen it around for a while now, especially being into the minitruck evironment it's used in a lot of builds. Had a buddy with a hot pick shag headliner in his s-10. Made me want to puke. Much more a fan of simple and clean myself.
  7. Look man, there's no way possible for any of us on here to do any sort of real testing on an amplifier. Testing an amp with a resistor bank still isn't even good for a general idea. These tests are %100 worthless.

I could not agree more. The little people with no understanding or knowledge of how things work get all kinds of excited about this amazing amplifier that will do 2.5k on stock electrical no problem whatsoever. When they blow the shit out of the woofer ie clipped to death, they all cheer on how underrated the amplifier must be because of the "insane amount of power" that blew the woofer. It's like falling on your face and being applauded for your superhuman balance. It has destroyed the market. There are two hell holes we've sunken into; the first being the people blowing eachother over the same gear that's been floating around for years with a new badge, and of course this retarded obsession with "custom" woofers. Every kid who knows how to use glue thinks they're a goddamned engineer. The result of course being a bunch of shitbox woofers with unknown parameters and therefore no way to build a proper enclosure BUT WHO CARES?! All people want is an inexpensive option to make enough noise to compensate for their inability to succeed in life. /endrant
  9. All that hair, fur, etc looks super ghetto I think. I think its a easy way for people to cover up ugly and laziness honestly. I would bet that why 75% of people do it.
  10. Which was a clamp. Absolutely useless test. If that is the best that he could do, doing nothing would be better. Proved nothing other than the fact that the tester doesn't understand testing. As for discussing bashing, There is some bashing going on and it is well deserved. It is not bashing a person, but a test. When a test that is full of flaws is posted and some "podunks" started to defend it without understanding anything it is bad for any forum. The only thing any of us who are knocking it down care about is the fact the test was horseshit, the results worthless and using it to draw conclusions is idiotic. I don't know nor care who Taylor is, he obviously doesn't know any better was confused by the internet and performed a test based on information that was well above his head. Unlike those defending his test at least he understood that well and decided not to post as he realized the uselesness of what he had done. If you all would stop taking things personally and instead read objectively this would have gone over easier. It isn't like all of us at some point haven't wasted time doing something we thought would do something else. Next time perhaps though instead of blindly defending ask for details on why and try to understand what was done.
  11. Stop looking at the results. They are pointless.
  12. And they aren't really useful for that either. That is the point people are missing. Much less for the conclusions most of the readers seem to be drawing from it. And that is the most damaging part of these tests. People see "numbers", assume because they see numbers those numbers must mean something so it turns into fact and everyone starts using it to draw these conclusions when realistically the numbers aren't really good for anything, not even just for a "general idea". And that is regardless of the results...underrated, overrated....doesn't matter.
  13. And this is exactly why I called you out before. Your question was answered, over and over and over. The accuracy of that test may be so bad that it isn't even a generalization of what power was made. We aren't nitpicking on 10w here or there but HUGE percentages in the actual value reported. If you really don't rudimentary understand testing or measuring you have no business deciding jack shit about anything that is ever engineered for audio reproduction. Please go calculate the uncertainty of each and every part of the measurement chain and stack them up. You'll shit.

These tests are 0 worthless. Sad that your sarcastic statement is the most accurate thing you've posted in the thread. Trying to make amends would be to actually do what was discussed and think about the test. Backpedaling is not doing that. Probably better you quit if you are too stubborn to actually think. Good luck running a business that way.
  15. You are really good at summarizing your own faults and trying to apply them elsewhere. Good luck with that in life, lol.

Good luck running a business that way.I don't need to backpedal or think about the testing as I have said several times and obviously you're not intelligent enough to understand what I posted. I guess to come on here and explain to you again that I don't support the testing and or results again is futile as its obvious you can't comprehend it the many times I have done it already. But I could always bring the chalkboard in here and treat you like a grade school child and put it in a larger format and break the words down for you but doubtful you would understand it then. <b>You aren't man enough to admit when you do something wrong even when you get caught and called out publicly so there again your character remains at the bottom of the barrel. <\b>Good luck with your ventures forward and have a good life. I'll continue on in this industry as I have for the past 26 years and making accomplishments as something that no one has seen from you...What is he wrong about?
  17. Naive and ignorant statement to assume that's a significant metric. Plenty of people with really stupid ideas and questionable knowledge do well in competitions, both SPL and SQ.But just think of how much louder you could be if you actually understood science and testing.......
  18. Naive and ignorant statement to assume that's a significant metric. Plenty of people with really stupid ideas and questionable knowledge do well in competitions, both SPL and SQ.But just think of how much louder you could be if you actually understood science and testing....... That's always debatable; there's no replacement for trial and error. Knowledge always help, but plenty of "smart" people do terrible in competition. troll status achieved bro. well done.
  19. 3% is absolutely unacceptable, I'm sure your ears can pick up the difference... I was unaware people did "clamp tests" to measure the possible measure of power that can audibly be heard as a difference compared to the rating on the box. IF that were true, then clamp tests would be the best method. That means as along as the 9,600w amp can do +/- 2,000w, then it's fine. That's your implication. Seems irrational to me.
  20. That's what I was thinking. I don't like the look of it at all but it does look pretty cool when you have air moving it
  21. I think it's awful....
  22. I despise fur... Almost as bad as using bedliner on the interior of your vehicle
