Build is taking longer than I wanted but we are slammed at work, my father-n-law is in hospice and doesnt have much longer and also money is alittle tight right now. On top of all that I blew my Incriminator 6.4 and the Pioneer 80PRS has a couple RCA's out on it. Sucks!! But I have 3 Platinum Gp31's and will be getting 3-5 more of them. 3 Subs have arrived just waiting on the 4th, Tweeters are here. So I still need to grab a strong 4 channel (will either be a CT sounds 125x4 or a Sundown 125x4. Send off the 80Prs for repair. So I think the direction this will go is... 4 18in Ethos walled B pillar Crossfire 8k, add a 2nd one next year. Mechman or Singer alt (biggest available) 250ft of 2/0, 8 Group 31's and intellicharger mounted Sundown Neo Pro 8's or Rockford PA 10's Rockford Punch Pro tweeters This will be a Demo / Comp / daily driver setup sorta like my last build. Roll through the lanes and put up big numbers and demo/ hairtick monster in the parking lot. Hopefully I can get some build pics going soon. Gonna try for a big number on a single amp while staying tuned low

There has a abundance of support from everyone. I am truly humble to such an honor. I am torn up over how it all came to terms. My best defense had proven to have a determination to move forward, one backed with an array of emotions, when all summed up, my stance on that chunk of steel "HAS" to be "F"-it. I have to move forward, I don't want to ponder on the, what if factors. I will build a new one for you all. (Not a g-body again) I seen Slamology mentioned in reference to this unfortunate chain of events. ...if everyone can help ensure as many of our shirts, as possible, are walking around the show on display for all too see the unity and vastness of team IAK. ....this will by far make it the best one yet. You as a team, are huge, and should be proud. I learned of the current tally of entries to Slamology under Team IAK name to date....I assure you, we all should be dam proud, these simple $10 t-shirts I am pushing will quickly gain popularity, and as the show closes, will become priceless imo. Well thats because your coming from SMD forum, im pretty sure all that info would be deleted off that forum if stated. Around here we dont do any deleting of threads or posts, so do some research and you will see all the threads on here concerning that issue.

Bench test means nothing, fyi. why not? Mostly because it's in a controlled environment. Once installed in your vehicle, you will NEVER have an controlled environment. Which is why MANY subs failed when gains are set with any SMD tools or any other gimmick used.

Coil length isn't the only thing that matters. And as Nick said, a picture isn't going to do anything to help him even as far as coil length goes. He would need full measurements of the coil and the gap, and as he pointed out he would also need to know the geometry of the motor and suspension. Long story short, the easiest way for them to do it would be with the physical driver in hand, including soft parts. And chances are good, reverse engineering the driver probably isn't something they really want to get into anyways. It would be fairly time consuming on their end. If you really want something from Fi, recone the driver with PSI parts, sell it and use the $$ to buy a Fi driver.
