    ALL FI/SSA subs that I have bought have come with chips in the magnet, its not a big deal.. They are built to sound great, FI doesn't focus on every little detail cosmetically. If you want that, go with a brand that focuses on such things.

    Really you only need one close to your battery on the power wire, you could use another towards the amplifier just in case.     I doubt they are going to do anything to fix it or replace it. That happens all the time and it will not effect on the performance of the woofer.

    Have you heard this shit from this forum? Because you seem to be a newbie. You need to calm down. Their are better choices like jay-cee gave you, but you can use what you have.
