Once I saw my boy, I felt as if my only reason for life was to raise him. As I see it, I have no other purpose or need until he is a man.

Sure there's the SQ Q1-3500. There's also the Sundown SAZ-4500 and SCV-4000, the Crescendo BC-3500, and the Ampere Audio AA-3800.1 as a few alternatives that would be worth considering. BTW, the Jimmy is home from work, lol.

Hey Q, just as an heads up. I'm not really sure if this is because of the first batch of spiders you've received or not. I just know it's kind of been an common thing now, at least between the subs I've owned, along with others I've communicated with. When you move the spiders in an up and down rotation, one at a time, you hear this funny noise. It's not audible during play, and it's not with every subwoofer. I know you've always taken good care of everyone, and don't mean this thread to come across negative. Just informative, as it could be something to look out for in regards for the October shipment. Personally, I might be talking to every one on behalf of everyone who earns less than $50k a year, saving for 1 speaker that counts almost 1% of our yearly income isn't easy and I would expect a perfect product, that's why "we" don't buy hifonics or Sony subwoofers.

Mine sound fine clamping 4400w per sub. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

I'd get a new sub right now since they offered. I don't 100% believe/agree that a chip in the magnets/motor is less of a concern that a scatch on the frame. Something was wrong with that fairly expensive driver. You will feel so much better knowing you have what you saved and paid for in the end if you are patient, I think you'll be more than happy with your new 100% BL.

Exactly, IF SOMETHING WERE TO HAPPEN TO IT.... Then I really doubt they would replace it FOR FREE. I love my Fi Q and would be very p o'd if I got my first or as SacredTanakh has claimed, has received every sub, with a definitive defective motor structure.
