  1. The way I figure phones are good for about 700 charge cycles and then they are shot.
  2. I get about 100 emails a day at least 70 are dispatched by the phone
  3. Definitely. Responding is another story though
  4. Exactly why I pre-emptively swapped mine
  5. The Samsung operating systems sucks donkey
  6. Santa Barbara which is 320mi south of San Fran
  7. I wouldnt count on that saving your amp. I never wire below recommended, unless it's a burp vehicle where you can adjust for rise playing sign waves.
  8. Beware where you get advice. No such thing as rise. ALL drivers have an impedance curve and if you play in the wrong spot you won't be happy.
  9. I've been inactive on here, and in my audio, for a while. Picked up something new(to me) and have some plans for this one. I still have the alt and batteries from my tahoe so that will help. I have a dual alt bracket for the singer to sit on so the stock alt can stay pcm controlled and handle the trucks electronics while the singer runs the batteries and amplifiers. 80PRS in the dash, ipad in the console. Hope to squeeze my PPI phantoms in the console again and run the Seas mids again, maybe swap for the ER variety. Unsure on tweeters at the moment. Going to run my xcon15 the same way swift did his single ethos15. I'm going for the same clarity, detail and output I had in the tahoe.
  10. 2 Nendo 6.5s, gonna be bedlined, building these things fast got about 3 hours of work into them if that so far, just need more resin, lil mat and theyll be ready to be sprayed. trimmed up and resin pooled in, solid as fuck now, bout to do a few more coats of resin on the fronts, give em a light sand n shoot.. have pics later today or tomorrow. stay tuned
  11. I was just playing some different songs when I thought, "What the hell? Give it a shot!"
  12. Yea if you are not using the back seats anyway you mite as well wall it
  13. Got everything playing finally. Zip tied everything in place before the console went back in place. I removed the duct in the console for the rear air so that it vents air into the console. Refrigerated amplifiers! Temporary bass setup so I can take my time with the box and stretch the legs of the fresh recone a little bit.
  14. PE uses the manufacturers plot, Zaph uses what he measures. I'd personally take the third party measurement over PE. There also may be methodology differences in the acquisition. It is far from trivial to do the measurements. Most people think you can just point a mic and boom, far from the case. If you have conflicted ones though and want input, throw links or plots up in your thread
  15. I had an 02. Kicks in that truck wouldn't work with my size 16's and sitting position, the dash is terrible for getting anything for a response so you are left with sails and some separation struggles or off axis like hell in the door. On a positive note, it is easy to get monster midbass from the doors.
