Either amp will do ya just fine. I have two of the v series component sets and put them on polk 600.4 and it sounds great. Also got 4 of these for a customer and he put them on an old 300w Rockford 4ch and they aound just as good. On "less" power.

Lol, we can tell...but guess who else is? If you can hear it you can upgrade. I have had a pair of both. Awesome drivers. The Nextel is beautiful, but in a car with such a ridiculous noise floor and so many compromises I no longer will spend that sort of dough on drivers. IMO the money is better spent elsewhere. Before those options I had Excel's in my car... Don't always assume the tester knows what they are doing. When Erin first got the Klippel from diyma loaned to him he had absolutely zero idea about audio. Was one of the most confused people I have ever met in that regard. While that has drastically changed his conclusions I wouldn't consider something you should draw ultimate credibility in. What he did do well is find a good support structure to help him through things. Also beware that recommendations on the net are usually watered down. ie, if Erin told you go ahead crossover at 2kHz and 12dB and you blew the tweeter you'd rip into him in the forum. He is aware of that. If you use your ears and other senses you can do an awful lot "below" recommended. The Fs of that tweeter is 700Hz. While I do not have that driver (I currently run Scan D2904 /60001) I know it will easily mate with any of the woofers you chose. Currently mine are paid with G18's, but they've mated with about 10 different 7's all just fine. Lastly on the same note, these are going into your car which is about as far from a test panel as you can get. The question that is always hard for me is will I regret not spending more and not knowing. In car audio, I've gotten beyond that but I have a closet full of nearly ever 7" driver worth a shit ever put on the market minus a few I've given away to others to use.

We have amps that are currently being designed. The icon of the amps, is the actual heat sink that is being tooled.

Personally if I had to choose between just those two amps only it would be the CB600.2 for the extra headroom.

I'd rather read what other well informed people think about the products and go from there. The difficult part is to know who to trust ! But as I can see, you seem to be in good hands here. The lights in the dash cluster didn't work what so ever, so I ordered 20 LED's for GM clusters on amazon for $14.99 and replaced them on the circuit board. Very nice/cheap upgrade.

I'm skeptical of all electronics until I've owned them. Most people on here are as well so if they haven't used one I wouldn't expect a response.

Cheaper to junk and buy new or even a good used amp. There is a online company that fixes amps and takes trade in's even if there broke or working. I'm having a brain fart and can't remember there name but they also have amp repair vids on you tube to.

what model is it exactly? If its a high quality amp it might be worth repairing but watts are so cheap now days, you could replace it for cheap.

I just started on the new design for my build. There's a few new details like new stainless accents, completely new enclosure design, and a new Mechman H/O alternator. Here's a few pix of what I've done so far: New bracket to hold the inline fuse under the hood. (10ga. 304 stainless steel) New front battery top strap. (10ga. 304 stainless steel) This could only mean one thing............. Common chamber for 2~15" Icon D1 - 8cf. @ 27hz I'll keep chugging away (weather permitting) and snappin' pix as I go. It's supposed to rain all weekend here so very little will happen in the next few days. The alternator should be here next week sometime.

(for those who were concerned...LOL) Time to play with the screamin' router!!! I'll do the other one tomorrow, and try to get all the internal bracing done.

It's fertilized with mdf dust, that's why it's so green. Just wait till you see it when it's mowed!

Well, I decided to finish the most time consuming panel, the last flared port wall. I only got to cut everything and shape it for tonight. Hopefully I'll get some more time in the next few days, the weather is supposed to start to clear! I almost have a gallon bucket of some good dust so far. That's just what I've bothered to save for filling screw holes!

Right? I have been trying to guess what it will look like done. Bring that thing inside to the kitchen table and get it done already. LMAO! I tried! the ole' lady put the nix on that as soon as it came out of my mouth! LOL I watched the radar all day....(the race too) and I couldn't catch a break long enough to setting up the horses... I'm itching to get this done. I haven't even had the H/U on since my old H/o alt. crapped out 2 months after my last install. Plus I just picked up some Lexan for a detail to be shown later! It's already taken up 3 sheets and I need to get a fourth for the top, plus another gallon of F/G resin to coat the inside of the flares. NTM my dang windshield has a split across the bottom AGAIN!!!! This was off a salt truck this past winter.....

Well I got about an hour and a half to work on this until Here's a few pix I snapped before the rain came.
