I've never heard a pillar tweeter that sounded best on axis. The caveat being I haven't heard every car in every situation. When I ran the RS28's in my house they were on axis Can you share what cross points and slopes you have everything at right now?

How did you choose the tweeter aiming? My guess is that they are a bit too on axis, but let's listen to some music first and start cleaning things up! Is there a baffle the mid is mounted to? Looks like you've treated the doors.

You can literally just copy off of google images and post them here. Those subwoofer enclosures look cool.

That would be cool. I know you're both pretty darn busy most of the time I just thought this was worth a little nudge to see about some updates.

Listen to one of those home 8 and tweet systems with the tweeter facing a different direction. It would be enlightening

Effective yesterday I have become a home-owner. I made the downpayment and signed the contract for a 2 bedroom apartment, close to down-town. Once all the paperwork is finished I have to get furniture, appliances etc and then rent it out. It was all about location-location-location, better location, higher rent. But I'm so beat after these two weeks of running around for paperwork, negotiations, lawyer, contracts. Bleh. Ski week starts Saturday.

J the comment about it not being actually 70-200 was from an OXO mark rating for true mm. That was more me digging at their quality control. A low dismissive comment so, my bad for that. Sean is right its more the magic of using it. It could have a worse focal length issue amd it would still be better. I also tried the whold trio and mirrorless.

J - it is irrelevant if you have made your choice. That being said I literally went in and shot Fuji & Nikon before buying the 70-200. I figure spending that much on a lens wouldn't cost me all that much to completely change platforms. (replacement - selling mine of course) So I tried with mostly open eyes. I say mostly as I wasn't as eager to swap to Nikon as Fuji, but I was surely eager to not own the Canon 70-200. It is FUCKING HUGE. That sucks. That suck is the only suck it has though, the rest is somewhat magic.
