  1. I just want a good addition to my sound system. Here's my setup: Kenwood KDC-X589 front stage: crossfire neo 6.0 rear fills: mach5audio MLI-65 amp: infinity 7540a I think that a IXL-10 2.2 would be a great addition at an event better price. Just not sure is i should run it at one channel per coil or in series bridged to give me 4 ohms. The amp as the same output either way. Tell me what you think.
  2. Hi, just wanted to know if the IXL-10 2.2 would live well with a US acoustics USB2150 wired at 4ohms Here are the specs for the amp: 2 x 150 @ 4ohms at 12.9 volts 2 x 225 @ 2ohms at 12.9 volts 1 x 450 @ 4ohms bridged at 12.9 volts THD less than 0.01% Frequency Response: 10Hz-30kHZ, -0.5 dB Input Sensitivity: 100 mV - 8.0 Volt Crossover range Low Pass: 40 - 460 Hz High Pass: 65 - 4.5 KHz S/N Ratio: 103 dB Channel Separation: 90 dB Damping Factor at 20 Hz: 95 Reverse Polarity, Thermal, Short Circuit, and DC protection. It would be installed in the driver's side hole inside the trunk in a stealth-like box. The reason i'm looking into the IXL-10 is mainly because of the price and great reviews i am reading. I know the amp isn't giving even half of the rms rating of the sub but maybe could be good in a small box. If you have any other suggestions of sub that i could use in same price range that would better fit my amp, please share. Thank you for your time. Phil Edit: another reason is that i live in canada and save a bunch on shipping and duty charges.
