i also got smart and bought a guass meter. to check the emf of my dp's way stronger tham the 3500 DD

I had a dd 3512 that did the same thing they said that the slugs in the magnet were reversedand changed the polarity of the woofer itself check the coils if the ohm load has dropped extremly then its defective or thats what DD says i hate their customer service but could never get a straight answer from them. when i first got my death panlty's i set one on my table saw and could'nt get it back off any DD woofer i owned or played with never did that.

I just got my death penalty's i got 2 12's i had my doubts at first but the break -in process on all speakers usually is.i competed the first five hours upon recieving them. wonderful craftsmanship! clamped power out of 2 dd m1a's one was 602w and the other 602.8w i tried gaining them as close as i could that amp is usually rated on their site 1200w rms@ 1 ohm each sub is wired at .7 and .35 strapped pair i did a 144.9 on the dash with plenty of vol. left i metered later on that week same power 147.4 at 44 hz. and 146.5 music not bad for a SQ driver. there is an impressive amount of SPL in there two.I love my subs.

these subs r breakin in now. im only seeing 602 w out of each ddm1a subs r wired at at .7 each. truly awesome can't wait for my 20.1 's need them for finals. in db drag im unofficial spl. leader in bass race 130 to 139.9 now teamIA 7 th in the world for street max. its all about one battery thats true talent

hey man that score was official. he was up against some pretty serious single woofer setup but im very proud to say that the RIOT SQUAD has hit B-MORE watch out for us boys NOT toting DD we are coming. i cant believe i beat 4 dd 12's with 4 3512 to be exact with two dp 12's and 600w clamped on each amp 1200 wattts total
