Can two AA Mayhem 12s hit 150+DB?
It is kinda small, but I'm asking if the mechanical stuff it self can do it. If so, I am thinking about trying to wall my subs.

What enclosure would it take? And do you per chance, a metering place around 30905? Or keywords to type into google to find one?

In case it doesn't show up, I have a sundown 4500, two xs power 3400s, and a mechman 220a.

Just wondering because I can't find a metering place around me and I an just curious as to what numbers I'd hit with my set up.

BNIB Means Brand New In Box right?
My brand spanking new, only ever tested by Jacob SAZ-1500 that's upstairs in my closet has a little burn mark on the ground screw and a little bit of wear on the same screw from the screw driver (looks like the driver slipped) where they tested it. Can definitely tell someone messed with it and hooked it up, but I also know it happened during testing. Same with a small scratch on the end plate on my SAX-100.4 in my van, came like that out of the box. I'm just trying to point out that anything you see could simply be from the guys testing it. That's very true. I'm not saying nor accusing the guy of ripping me off, I just figured all the tape would be intact and whatnot. I'm honestly not upset at all which is why I won't say names or prices, I'm just legitimately curious if I got BNIB according to Sundown standards or if I was, in fact, ripped off. But, like I said I really do appreciate the input. And no, I never saw a picture, but the guy was a reputable source and had many of things sold on his thread I was looking at. In hind sight, should have required a picture, but his reputation seems trustworthy. After all, I got what I wanted (pretty much) with no defects, in a very timely manner and no issues at all. I was just never aware of the fact that BNIB may mean opened in Sundown amp cases.

BNIB Means Brand New In Box right?
Well, like I was saying, if I paid X amount for a new amp and got a slightly used one which was being sold for a lot cheaper shouldn't I get the used amp price? Either way, like I said I'm not mad, I just don't think this is how its supposed to be. I am definitely happy with it, and I will hook it up shortly and if it works perfectly then no big deal, just curious. Thanks for the input though, definitely appreciate that.

I guess I'll hook it up and if it works, I'll suck it up. At least its in new condition and (possibly) works like new.

BNIB Means Brand New In Box right?
That's very true, I never thought of that. No, it wasn't ever mounted.

BNIB Means Brand New In Box right?
It looking like its been tested, yes but not thoroughly used.

BNIB Means Brand New In Box right?
Granted, but if it were tested by Sundown themselves wouldn't the original packing tape be uncut? I'm not mad at anyone not am I trying to cause problems, but if I paid for a new amp and got a used one then I want the used amp price.

BNIB Means Brand New In Box right?
I recently ordered an amplifier from someone on this site and I asked them for a BNIB amp instead of the amp that had been used (allegedly used for 10 minutes). I get my box, and the original packing tape was cut and retaped, so I thought no big deal. Continue to open it and I see all the tape was cut on all the boxes it was on and the inside most box had 'Tested 4-6-11' written on it. Granted its in new condition, there are no cosmetic flaws and I got all the extras that come with it but I paid extra for BNIB not tested. So my question is is this considered BNIB condition? If not, then should I pay the same price for the one said person was selling used instead of paying the BNIB for a used amp?

looking to lose 55 lbs
With a handheld meter like the Dr uses. I had it checked at the gym. Cool. I'll have to try that, because I'm 6'3" and I weigh 245-250 and I'm always getting told that I'm 22%+... If you do the math thats 53.9-55lbs of fat lol there is literally no way. But thanks, I'm going to have to try that and good luck! p.s. if you can run I would highly suggest it.

i need BOX help
Im no expert by far, but I know for a fact when I put subs in my Lincoln LS (granted) when they were facing rear, they hit so hard and the trunk was so flimsy that the trunk lifted up enough to let enough pressure out. When I flipped them in toward the cabin, they got considerably louder. So basically, my 2cents is if its facing rear/up, would your trunk do that too?

Why are they so cheap!?
No joke? That's amazing. I seen a guy selling them BNIB for $1100... Wish I was on for that. Thanks guy! I was just a bit leery of a damn good deal.

Why are they so cheap!?
I've seen several topics on this forum and other forums selling the Sundown 4500D for $900-1100 in just opened or unopened condition. Last I remember, they MSRPed for over $1800. I've been away from car audio for a while and I was wondering if there is a big scam out, or the 4500D just isn't what its crack up to be, or whats going on with that?

Ok, two questions about batteries and alts...
Great info! But other than that I guess theres no difference? And thanks for the info, Im not sure how you found that but I appreciate it! Yes the batteries are basically the same. So even if you got the s version and plan to use them in the back of your vehicle, you'd just use battery post type terminals instead of ring terminals. Although for that scenario it would have made better sense to get the D version, but no worries. I found the info by going to the xs power section right here on ssa: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/forum/81-xs-power/ The third pinned topic titled "Whats the difference in the S version and D version?", Ah, alright, thanks! I havent used the Forum much since they re-done it. I never thought to look there. Sorry about that. But thanks again!

Sweet, Ill install the alt this weekend, and do the big tres... and Im not sure what the true difference is. THe S series had 2 less AH than the D series but I am almost positive that the AH are only relative if you plan on running it while its off. Other than that they have the same max amps and whatnot... I guess just hit them up. Thank you!
