I dont really get your question are you talking about the 1k5h ?? which has the half bridged technology >? Any of them..what are they switching at. You have a frequency in which the gates are opening or closing at..on the fets and/or transistors on the output stage (You can see this on an o-scope if you do not know, you just have to get in the range that they are operating at). The only amplifier in the world that is truly an amplifier is a class A, everything else switches via gates on a mosfet or a transistor..I want to know the operating frequency of that device. 100kHz? 120kHz? Higher? The smaller transformers and parts that are used the higher and harder the gates are being switched on fets/transistors..I want to know what this frequency range is. Well i understand now, i was just making sure its not everyone nowadays that ask me that for the power supply is 26khz and the to the channels (fets) is 104khz on the big models and for the 1k5h is 180khz and the power supply 26khz also but why this question ?? but what want to know this ?? :puzzled: That's what i'm looking for...this goes for the class D amplifiers as well, not just the H bridge? Top w are made with solid clip light. vol-----v--------a--------w-----battery----ohms 16----43,6----10,71----466,9----13,04-------4 17----49,1----11,84----581,3----12,96-------4 16----42,2----21,6-----911,5----12,73-------2 17----46,1----22,8-----1051-----12,65-------2 15----34,3----33,66----1154,5---12,54-------1 16----39,4----38,06----1499,5---12,32-------1 Thread about the Test i will do some test on my own with videos, i test my 1k5h already and i got 69 ac volt x 21 ac amps (1449 rms @ 3.28ohms impedance rise burping @ 56hz with two dd1512 144.7db I had a 1k5h @ 2ohms and the subs were at 2ohms nominal impedance voltage drop was around 12.9v This is what i remember, im never made a video, but i was testing before i was going to a show and i got impressed, i will never forget it, when i saw that 69ac volts on the meter !! and the amplifier is smaller than a sheet of paper pretty soon i will do videos Specs on the amplifier

More Voltage always equal more power. The two amps you asked about do about the same amount of power but have different features on them, so see which fits your application the most. The Stetsom does more power than the Sundown at 2 and 4 ohms as well. thank you to point that out, i didnt even noticed that =p

hello there, Well the 2k5e is a nice amp to compare to the sundown 3500 Well the 2k5e has a nice efficiency on his performance about 94% @ 4 ohms at 100hz sundown is 86% 90% @ 2ohms at 100hz sundown ??? 86 % @ 1ohm at 100hz sundown ??? well as you can see what sundown does in 4 ohms we do in 1 ohm =) 2k5e power consumption is 275ah max, sundown is 350ah ( i guess) and our amps are rated at 12.6 and 13.8 volts Channels: 1 RMS Power @ 13.8V Mono 1 Ohm: 3300 Watts RMS Power @ 13.8V Mono 2 Ohms: 2200 Watts RMS Power @ 13.8V Mono 4 Ohms: 1300 Watts RMS Power @ 12.6V Mono 1 Ohm: 2500 Watts RMS Power @ 12.6V Mono 2 Ohms: 1850 Watts RMS Power @ 12.6V Mono 4 Ohms: 1100 Watts sundown has a pretty good design as the 2k5e, but we cant really compare them because they are rated at different power and also the sundown is made to make more power, but the Stetsom 2k5e keeps up with him with a small difference of amount of power !!! and our amps are 12volts amplifiers, they dont need high voltage to make power, i would say anything more than 14.5 volts is not necessary and also our amplifier has a protection mode from 9v to 15v the 12 volts amplfiers are based on 12votls batteries you never should have a 12volts batteries up to 14.8 volts when you are charging it

Because we use less of higher rated components. They are actually quite impressive(and expensive) parts. Much better than super buildhouse parts. Not only that, but the SMPS carrier frequency is considerably higher than other amps, which means they do not need to have as much transformer core area or input/ouput filter capacitance. That means smaller cores and a directly smaller footprint due to not having the need for so many capacitors.
