Alright so i just wrote it wrong i did have the hi pass on but i had it turned all the way down i turned it to full range and i turned loud off on my headunit i turned the volume up till it started clipping and i did this with gain all the way up and then i gradually turned the gain down until it was no longer clipping and i did this till the gain was at half way and i turned it to as loud as i could stand it and then adjusted my filter till i heard no bass.
