And kickers new stuff the zx series is 2 ohm stable but the kx series the one before zx was 1 ohm stable and were better built in my opinion. I wouldnt put kenwood pioneer and kicker in the same category though.

Well Google and search can be your best friend in life if you chose to use it (I got plenty of tips and help on using the DMM) plus there are plenty of people on this forum who will lend you a hand you just have to ask. i googled it none of them helped with what i dont understand i cant figure out the setting on the knobs like what each turn means. I know ohms but thats it

i mean like the notes dont sound good they seem like they should hit differently. My gain is set around 3/4 of the way. My amp does have a subsonic filter but it only goes on or off. Some songs like run this town by jay z. Some songs even on cd sound weird but maybe thats cause they are bootlegs. How can i check if my box is completly sealed up tight? Would the real like storebought cd sound better? All opinions are appreciated

Im Helping a friend design a box he kinda wants a half wall. Two subs inside the cab ( no rear seat) and two in the trunk area. My idea is 3.5 cubic feet per sub about 55 cubic inches of port per sub. It will b one big box but inside it will be like each speaker has its own box and they all have their own port. So i suppose 14 cub ft internal after sub and port displacement and overall about 220 cub inches of port how does that sound any advice is appreciated. He has none of the equipment yet but he wants 4 cvr 15s and for power either two kicker kx1200.1 or one zx or kx 2500.1?

So just buy the kit and screw and on and bam no more rattle? Thanks for all your help jaycee. Im feeling confident about doing the big 3.

Ok thanks i think im going to get the kinetik hc1400 if i need a second battery. It supports 1400rms. Are kinetiks good? Thanks . And also does the dynamat license plate really quit rattle of the license plate?

Alright thanks so i read another post you chimed in on so if i get a second battery i shouldnt get an isolator? And i read somewhere its better to get one big ass battery for under the hood instead of 2 is that true?

Thanks jaycee i have a feeling your getting irritated with all my questions lol. So would my stock alt support another battery? And i did the gain equation and got that number to but i couldnt figure out how to use the dmm so i said screw it and turned it up about 3/4 of the way

I still have my stock alternator im going to be be ordering 2 0 gauge amps kits from knukonceptz its the fleks type. One is for my amp and the other one is for doing my big 3. One question ive read up on how to do the big 3 some but how do i connect the wire to my alternator? And will the big 3 be enough for the little bit of dimming i have? If not should i get a battery for the back? If yes will my stock alternator suppport it? Thanks

My speaker is dual 2 ohm i have it wired down to 1 my amp is 1400rms. I need to know what impedence to put into the equation. Thank you i know what im talking about besides big 3

And ive got the dual 2 L7 so when im setting my gain what do i see it as 1.2.4?
