    I used to have hifonics colossus amp to power up 2 IDMAX subwoofers... and when i change to H-1, the sound quality is better... the frequency range is wider... etc etc... so i guess i'll stick with class AB amplifier... i wouldn't mind about efficiency as i have 3 batteries in my car... I'm not a big fan of Soundstream... any other options mate?

    Those are class D amplifier. Whatabout class AB amplifier that can produce 1200watts @ 4ohm??? On top of my head is ARC Audio 2500XXK 1040watts@4ohm. Anything elses???
