I think i remember reading it and the problem was not because of nate but it was the car... I think it was a mazda rx8 or something like that it had something that would not allow the HO alt to work. Another case was because the guy who installed it installed it backwards... Too lazy to look it up but i think i read it @ ca.com

The Box is a also a major factor in a set up so you should watch out for your limited space as fosgate mentioned. Have someone that knows their stuff design one for you...

Lots of them are underrated even the older series you wont be sad w/em =) Kicker amps arent bad either
