Thank you. So, I can just order the Q recone kits off of ficaraudio.com and they will work with both motors? Also, do the recone kits come with ca glue and everything need? Thanks again! I was worried about running them together. Edit: I see where the glue has to be ordered seperate now. One more question, wouldn't the bp plug missing actually help the motors be more alike?

I am considering a trade for 2 doublestack Fi Q motors. I was planning to build the motors into D2 12's to run off my 2 VVME INNO-D1500's (AP15001D clones) strapped at 2 ohms for around 2.2-2.4K clean power to the pair. Just found out from the current owner one motor is fully loaded and the other is not. How much of a difference is this going to make. Thanks.

Finally got it all tuned out and subs broke in.

No sir. Runnin Skar amps and mids now. SK1500.1D on the subs and an SK85.4 on 2 PAX6.5's and 2 DB Drive P5TW 8D tweets. Just threw the mids and tweets each on their own channel of the 85.4 all at 4 ohms. Got the tweets hp'd at 5K and the mids around 80. Sounds clean. Like havin seperate gain control between mids/highs.

I deal with Kevin in person as Skar Audio HQ is literally 2 mins from my house. He has always been prompt on replying to my questions and nothing but upfront and honest with our business dealing. About two years ago Kevin even personally came to my house to deliver a VVX 12 I was trading in an SA-12 for and gave me a demo of his Ford 500 (before it was totaled) with the 6 VVX10's and SK4500.1D. Very professional and just all around nice guy. Took the time to show me and my wife around the office and warehouse the other day and answered all my questions. Of course this is just MY experience, but I love my Skar Audio products and Kevin's great customer service and will continue to represent the brand in my vehicle and do business with him and his company in the future. Just my $.02 for what it's worth.

Got some new goodies for my van. Upgraded my doors to a pair of PAX6.5 4 ohms bridged on an SK85.4 for 250 rms per door. The AP ATX3720 tweets blew, so until the new Skar bullets arrive in country, I am rocking a set PE Goldwood 30 rms tweets in the dash off the head unit. Sounds pretty good. Got 2 of the VVME RD-12 ebay mystery subs in 4.4^3 @ 30Hz with ~60 insq of port on an SK1500.1D. Lovin these Skar amps! Kenwood KDC-X596 arriving Wednesday to replace the Clarion CZ401. Watch in 1080p.

Man, I should have grabbed a vid the other day of them ridin out on a 22Hz tone full tilt. Took it like champs. Was doin some trouble shooting on the amp since it's been goin into soft protect on some songs at full tilt. Took them all the way to 20Hz to start floppin at all. Absolutely love the 25Hz area. Very weird, I can push the amp full tilt at 22-25Hz no problem but it will protect at 30Hz. It's not the subs or box, cause we pulled them out and hooked them up in my buddies truck to his ED Nine.1 and it played fine. Voltage doesn't drop below 12.5 full tilt and I have a solid ground. Thinkin I'm just going to send the amp back and get the INNO-1500 which is the AP-1500 version, the one I have now is the APSM-1500 (mini) knockoff.

Lovin the sound. Truly impressed with these subs. Box is 4.4^3 @ 30Hz with ~60insq of port. 24h x 40w x 14d. Definitely worth the $50 a pop I paid for them. Wish I had the room to do about 8 of em in a wall tuned low or preferably a 4th. I bet they would get down.

Amp is going into protect on low lows at full tilt. Pretty sure I have some voltage drop issues. 2 amps runnin off 1 run of 1/0, 1 Walmart Maxx series under the hood, and stock alt with no big 3, lol. Going to get an HO alt, do the big three, and tuck a second batt in the jack cubby.

All loaded up and ready to go for in the morning. This will probably be how I eventually mount the amp. RCA's aren't long enough now.

Subs and amp! Looks soooo much better with the gasket on there, glad I ordered them.
