Absolutely Love It!

I actually had Bassin Buick stop by with his DMM so I could check the coils and make sure I was at 1 ohm cause this 600 rms subwoofer takes the 1500 rms so damn well I thought maybe I had gotten a D4 and was at 2 ohms by mistake. But no, I am sitting at exactly 1 ohm at the amp terminals. I love it!

Sorry for the poor quality vid, other camera is dead and I has no AA's ftl. Absolutely Lovin the Skar! Noticeably louder and lower and I can't get it warm with the gain at almost 1/2 way and the sub on +2 outa 4 at the head unit. Sub is still pretty damn stiff too. Think it still has some breakin in to do. Will get better vid when I get some AA batts.

Can't wait to catch this at a show! Epic build!

"Inbetween systems" systems. Box was 2.8^3 @ 36Hz built to get a higher TL score outa the AA Chaos 15/AP15001D setup but sub was sold before box was finished so I had it cut for a 12 and threw in a sub I had laying around. MOFO-12D2 V1 and AP15001D @ 1 ohm. Switched out my AP15001D for the AP18001D you seen above while I had this sub and hit a 138.x sealed up legal on the dash with a 41Hz tone iirc. Same box, AP18001D @ 8 ohms on HFi12D4 ~350 rms, hit a 135.x sealed up legal with this on a burp, same freq iirc. Click pic for vid

Random system pics and vids: RE MT/PSI 12D1.4 and 2.2^3 @ 29Hz custom enclosure (sub and box built by BassHeadsEnt.net) on an AP18001D @ .7 w/ 2 old school 88'/89' Sony XM-5540 4 channels on mids/highs. Loved this setup! AA Chaos 15D2 in a 2.8 @ 32Hz BHE custom enclosure on an AP15001D @ 1 ohm (800 rms sub took 2x power with ease!) was bass racin 39.9 with this setup! 2 Incriminator Audio LI 12D4's in a 3.4^3 @ 31Hz BHE custom enclosure off AP15001D @ 1 ohm.

My only Zed amp, but I love it! Got it bridged at 8 ohms x 2 on my front stage and it does work! Got many compliments on how clean and loud my mids/highs were at a meet Fri night.

If the Alarms Etc. in Lakeland is anything like the one on Nebraska in Tampa, then they are actually one of the better more honest shops arround. Helped a guy pick out a stereo system one time and it was for a newer car so he wanted to have a shop do the install, took him down there and they did a great job at a decent price. He ended up even having them put an alarm system in too. He was very pleased. Hope you get it worked out, glad you caught them before they got anything.

Looks great. My dad had a 79' Stingray. Awesome cars, but definitely not alot of room. I have riden in the t-top storage are before as a child when my sister had the passenger seat, so I can appreciate the limited space you have to work with. Love the amp, really like the ease of a 5 channel on small installs. Interested in how it performs. Great work so far. Tuned in. And can we get some vids of this one please?

The AP18001D is a great choice on a budget. Solid amp that does rated and comes with a 1 year factory warranty (when bought from vminnovations.com) all for under $200 shipped and would be a perfect match for 2 D4 SSD's at 1 ohm with 900 rms a piece. I have used the 1500 and 1800 and swear by them. Great budget amps. The only reason I don't have one now is cause I got a my AB 100.1 for cheaper than I woulda paid for either of them. Good luck with whatever you choose, but I can assure you the AP18001D won't dissapoint. By the way, that RE Audio XT is not doin no 1600 rms with only 90 amps of fusing, just sayin.

Some really awesome tatts in here. Here are the few I have (will have more when funds allow): First one I got when I was 18, my last name, COWGER, on the back of my neck. Wish I would have gotten it bigger, lol. Got ripped of too. Paid 10 bux a letter. Second one I got, traded a gallon of shroom juice for it at a rave, lulz. This happened sometime in my early 20's, memory of that time period is a little fuzzy lol. My initials in FL, so I am home no matter where I go. This one was ~2003-2004, my boy got a $60K settlement from a car accident and we where in Ybor City blowin money. Las Vegas Tattoos on 7th Ave in Ybor. By far my favorite one I have!
