  1. Ok, it is now FINALLY FINISHED!!!! End caps are on!
  2. Yep, the amp is under the false back seat. I thought I posted pictures of that also but apparently not. But like Chad said, the amp is getting fixed right now - it went ballistic (apparently it doesn't like almost a g of force being applied to its internals - i.e. the integra at its limit around a turn), almost blew my right Koda, and then continued to distort HEAVILY on the right channel. So I made a phone call and the amp is being fixed now.
  3. Yep, fired it up and forgot how loud that system really is.
  4. Only up front - two neons under the dash. No neons out back b/c the amp is bright enough at night.
  5. Enclosure was sprayed again today except this time no solvent popping! Here are pics of the install of the enclosure, amp, and subs. The end caps aren't on the amplifier yet but I have to wait until my Olympus comes back to put the end caps on because I lost the end cap screws.
  6. There are plenty of people who rice out their Honda's for sure. Too many ricers with stadium-seat wings, 120 dB fart pipes, and mis-colored body kits ruin it for the rest of us who do things right.
  7. I'll remember that if I ever see you at a competition. Not everyone's a ricer you know.
  8. i aughta slap you on the forehead with teh fo millies for even thinkin about that after all that work i put into that chit, ill be gat damn if that is coming out of that car for a f'n ugly ass mdf box. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Exactly.
  9. P&S has NEVER come off any car I've used it on (even on the roof of one car). Why pay more money for other deadener when it does nothing more performance-wise? I don't buy products because of the name. If speakers and speaker wire were the same way I'd be using Sparkomatics all the way around and walmart wire...but they're not the same.
  10. nah, when I bring it up nothing is getting yanked out of that car. The enclosure/amp rack is part of the back of the Integra so it's staying there.
  11. Yes that is Peel-n-seal on the doors. I use it exclusively. Everything else I've used oozes out over time. P&S stays put, doesn't run, and is the best bang-for-your-buck out there. ...of course if you don't use a heat gun with P&S you need to be punched. And yeah Chad, I'm trying to get the teg finished by then to come up there that weekend!
  12. Yes, no under-car stuff. The neons look SOOO good in his Scion that I'll probably do it in my car. And I'll call you back Ryan. Thanks for the deadening suggestion krazie. We'll keep those in mind when we get closer to the install date.
  13. Admit it, welcome it...you want me.
  14. So tonight I installed some under-the-dash neons for a friend of mine who will be getting a Mag 12 with two of Sundown Audio's amplifiers and Boston comp's up front. Anyway, sorry for not hosting these but get on IE or shut up. PS: I know I'm a lazy bastage when it comes to hosting pics so everyone can see them but ... I've got too much other chite to worry about. PPS: Yes, beer was a part of the install. Becks and St. Pauli's to be exact.
  15. Wire loom is my friend. No drilling in my doors and I'm not taking off the fender. It's not that critical - it just needs to be there. And the sprayer put the clear on too thick. It'll be fixed shortly. ...b!tches.
  16. Well the enclosure was painted yesterday but the solvent popped overnight so it needs to be re-sprayed. For those of you who don't know what solvent popping looks like - it looks like a BUNCH of tiny little blisters all over the surface, usually gathered in little sections. After doing some research on solvent popping I found out that one of the leading causes is putting on the clear too thick (which my painter admitted to doing to try and "smooth out" the surface). So needless to say he's re-spraying it tomorrow after I get off work. I deadened my doors a little so here are a few pics of the doors along with a few of the enclosure after I got it back and wet sanded it with 400 and then 600.
  17. BTW: What the hell is the topic? Zomg?
  18. There's your hatch w/ great gas mileage.
  19. Try to find a hatchback, an SUV, or a wagon. Basically...sedans suck unless you wall them off.
  20. This needs to go in the classifieds...and will go there now.
  21. Thanks mang. BTW: I'm going to put the end caps on that amplifier so it looks like it's totally suspended.
  22. Nick will host them later for you mac guys. As far as glassing them into the rear seat, I need to fold the rear seat down to be legal in the competition lanes and the reason why I bought a hatch and not a sedan was to build in the hatch and not have to worry about putting subs inside the cab. The further your subs are away from you, the better they sound also. And when you actually put the subs in place, you have less room than you thought...Mag's are kinda big when you place them inside your vehicle for fitment. Just ask Nick about the Mag 12" in my Del Sol. The Magnet would have been hitting my elbow.
  23. Thanks for hosting the pics Nick. Here's a few for ya. The beauty pannels are done and you can now put a little bit of weight on them and the "rear seat" if needed.
  24. No, people can not sit in the back. The back seat is tiny anyway with no leg room and that cover is just that - a cover. The cover will support a coat or a lunch box but that's about it. I'm going to make the final beauty pannel today and also get the stilts made so the beauty pannels don't move around all over the place.
