  1. I sent out two 15' pieces of Omni speaker wire to Ryan yesterday. The list of demoees is as follows (in shipping order as well): Ryan M. Brad E. Jason G. Nick B. Nick C. Keith M. Justin T. That's the official demo ring. I forgot to add to the letter that I supplied with the wire that the wire is directional, so watch out for that. Other than that, let it begin!
  2. What Supa C said. (and yes, SoundSolutions' smilies are the best) Unless you purposefully beat the driver to death you won't have any problems with our build. If an SX/XXX can hold up, ours will too - guaranteed. :D
  3. Well I think I'm going to close the demo of new entries now. It's getting pretty full...almost a bit too big. Anyway, I'll post the official list soon.
  4. Ok, to make my life easier I need a PM from Ryan, Noah, Undercover Punk, and I think that's it. So far I have everyone down who has said they have wanted in. Supa C, are you in? You expressed interest but I don't know when your system would be up and running.
  5. So far Ryan, Noah, Jason, and the two PM's I got are in. That's a good start for less than a day old thread.
  6. So am I sending out twin 15' pairs instead? Will that work for everyone? I figured why not go the biggest...since you do have a HUGE FRIGGIN car Jason which will be the largest run anyone can have.
  7. Nah, it's cool, just let me know what you guys want the pieces to be. BUT I'm not sending out 100' of wire on a demo. The total length needs to be kept short.
  8. So far Ryan's the only one bucking up to the challenge.
  9. Subwoofage, it can/does make a difference. However, it makes the biggest difference in the midbass on up. I can send out a couple strands, but it will only be enough for one side only. If someone has an active setup I'll send them the two pieces and send out the twenty foot'er to the rest. Again, reply only if you want in the demo ring.
  10. BTW: If you don't want your address posted on here you can PM me your addy instead.
  11. Since my RCA pictures and speaker wire comments pretty much started a fire last time, here is the official thread to either put up or shut up. I will send out a 20 foot piece of Omni speaker CABLE (no interconnects like I have, as they are just too expensive to send out like that). Twenty feet is more than enough to swap out one side of a stereo with. What I advise doing is only putting this wire on one side of your system, whether it be car or home, and take a listen to the difference. Reply to this topic only if you wish to be on the demo list. I will pay for shipping to a person, and then when that person gets the wire they pay shipping to the next person, and so-on and so-on.
  12. 2 ported Mag 15's = BIG ported box. Be prepared for at least 8 cubes before port and driver displacement (that'd be for around a dual 3.5 cube box).
  13. I think at this point "I told you so" really doesn't cut it. ...but then again, what do I know. When we shove a $1200 15" unit in storage for our MSRP'd $550 unit, that's saying something. BTW: My dad and I are the epitome of tight bass connoisseurs.
  14. ^ what Tirefryr said. Our voice coils can smother a Coke can. 1000 watts of clean power is not a problem.
  15. Mounting depth is 6.75". Overall depth is ~7.5", although you will need more than that if you plan on sticking something directly in front of it and making the cone move at all . The 11 1/8'th measurement is a bit on the large side also.
  16. Very cool video! You sure got it moving a good bit!
  17. 4 claw Magnum's ported in a BIG box with a BIG port. It's on our demo car web page.
  18. Yep, they'll handle it even though you don't need that much.
  19. I missed when the event is taking place. Anyone?
  20. Hoss had four first generation Magnum 12's in his Explorer with a real-world 1200 watts (twin American Bass 1000 watt class D amps with a factory alt, factory battery, etc) of power and he was doing 152's. He did a 156 once, but his average was around 151/152. That was the loudest daily driver setup I've ever heard.
  21. Cool man! Keep us up to date.
  22. Because he's building it for a 15, not a 12.
  23. Cool. I hope you braced the box as well. If not, 2.6 cubes will flex.
  24. See, that's what I was expecting the first time. I had a feeling something was off, but you do drive a boat so that could have been it also. I got your voicemail at work, and thanks for leaving the message. I had a chitty day at work today and needed something like that so I wouldn't go postal. Now post on SIN where that guy said "they're inefficient at hell."
