Logo for my D2 :)
I'm working on getting some stickers that have "SI D2" on them instead of "Magnum" like our previous logo. I'll keep the web site and the forum updated.

15" SI-D2 review
- it begins...
Ah yes, fond...well not really...memories. And the thing is, some of the interior is back in the car and it all has to come out again in a week or so.- 302's (edit: 307's)
If mounting depth was your deciding factor...I know you haven't heard the 307's. Mounting depth on the 307's is 2.1". Mounting depth on the 327's is 2.3".- 15" SI-D2 review
Try decreasing it to 8". No 18" or larger.- 15" SI-D2 review
Hollis was questioning my heterosexuality when I told him "we've got to find New Kids On The Block, we just have to". Then when he found out that it's a dirty old towel that I use to clean up stuff he just started laughing. I think I can squeeze a 15 and two 8's in my car. I love the 12...but man the 15's are just awesome.- They are in folks..
All you have to do is click on the "order online" link on our web pae. Here's the address just in case; http://www.stereointegrity.com/order.html- What would you do?
I almost voted for the V-shaped, but the straight pieces might look better, so I say straight.- can i please get a WinISD file for 15 inch magnum
Yep. You know, all you guys have to do is enter in the T/S parameters off of our web site. Magnum12.wdr- Poll for equipment in my car
Just keep in mind that this is going in the cab of a Del Sol. The subwoofer enclosure will be fiberglassed of course directly behind the two seats. The enclosure will consume literally everything rearward of the seats. I might own a very powerful amp soon that will be able to anihilate the 15, let alone a 12, or even 8's. So now my options are totally open.- can i please get a WinISD file for 15 inch magnum
Here ya go. Magnum15.wdr- Dimensions of the crossovers for 302's
~3.5" x 7" is the dimension of each crossover board.- SI 8s performance
When it comes out, it will use motor technology from Adire Audio. So in a word- Yes.- So you guys like 8"s huh :)
I hope you're talking about your 8", not JL's. Even if you are talking about your 8, do you mean a driver made by Stephen at TC Sounds? Stephen making "custom" drivers?! Noooooo.- SI 8" pictures
Efficiency on our 8" is up there, so the "large" surround doesn't hinder it one bit. Taller, narrower, surrounds actually decrease efficiency from what we have now. +/- 12mm one-way linear doesn't exactly spell a normal surround for an 8. And with a bandwidth of +/- 3 db from 40 Hz to 1,600 Hz, I'd say the 8 does a pretty good job of holding it's own despite the look of the parts used.- So you guys like 8"s huh :)
How does this relate to SI? ...just the size of the driver, or? ...and what over-motored 8" is that?- SI 8s performance
Well these 8's aren't exactly "shallow mount", so a decent sized kick would be around 0.4 cubes hopefully. If it's any smaller than that it could cause problems.- LOUD VERY IMPRESSED
Haha, I'm glad you like them. I need to hear them with the MA on them! Hell, with only 350 watts each and barely moving they were WAY too loud for me. They were moving my nostrils, seriously. You (and any other 15" owners) are just nuts.- SI 8s performance
What what??? Nah, they're going to be SVC 4 Ohm.- Is the 5" 327 driver a Morel?
We don't publish T/S's because they aren't necessary on a component set. The 307 and 327's will do well in either sealed kicks or door applications, both the 5" and 6" drivers are very flexible. On the note of power handling, if memory serves me right we had lower numbers until a few days ago when I bumped them up on the 307's after adding the 327's to our site, so they haven't been the same as what Morel publishes on their speakers. If they are the same now, it's just coincidence. We won't give out any more information on the the components than what's published on our web page - woofers, tweeters, or crossovers. If you like your Morel's though, why not keep them? - it begins...
