I think I need to stick with a center port. The sides of the enclosure follow the lines of the car. Making a side port would result in a crazy shaped port.

I still have 1-15. Has a new top assembly. Never blown. Quentin sent me a replacement so I could dissect one. Countless 5kw+ burps and still looked great.

Decided to gut the truck after heatwave and build the camaro up again.

Basically. Seized up motor and a trans that won't engage. Fun times. Just about got it all back together. initial test in garage, obviously not on alternator power. 164.6 @ 68hz.

It'll never go away.Don't assume all resin stinks. This actually smells like licorice.working with it in my garage at night. Door closed to keep bugs out. Totally clear by morning. No smell in the house. I mean it'll never leave the truck lol. I used some stuff similar to that it doesnt smell bad but the smell def doesnt go away for a very long time. My mustangs interior still reaked of it after i pulled everything out months later.I don't know what you used, but it's not like this. This has chemical smell at all.fiberglass resin from like home depot.... Has a terrible smell. My camaro was the same way. this is epoxy gel coat. Has no smell like what your thinking.
