699 with stand and cover and a couple other things. Same size as the "large" egg. The grills also flip in half making adding fuel a little easier I suppose.

Didn't know the temp thing was a must have item. I have a large grill now but it does not hold temp with the crappy smoker box on the side. I thought the whole point of the kamado grill was that its holds and maintains heat phenomenally.

I can get an egg here but its very expensive. I've found the large one here for 800 plus the cart, stone, and cover its around 1200 out the door plus tax. This one I can get at castco or home depot for 700 and everything is included. I do agree about the temp controller. Same company offers one with the slide vent similar to the egg. I'm sure I could adapt a controller to that style.

Can't stand the thought of renting after owning for this long. Anything is going to be more expensive than Houston. I'm prepared for the home prices. Need to research property taxes vs here. Stupid high here.

We had a water/meth injected ROE super charger kit on our 99.I feel your pain. A stroked/bored TT LS motor cost less than the Viper SC kit we bought. That being said. ROE worked with us on price since it was still a newer product and we were both vendors on Viper Alley.
