  1. your probably better setting gains by ear than using the dd1
  2. they closed the shop.
  3. Awesome bobby. You going to show on the 13th in conroe?
  4. Atleast you have some gear to get it started.
  5. Spend more time with my family. Be a better husband and father.
  6. Holy fuck Sean, hurry up and finish this thing. I'm going to retire the Camaro and build another 160+ car before this hits a meter. Get in it son!. Take it down to Swift. He does nice work and gets it done fast.
  7. Guess I shouldn't share my plans online.... Now a local competitor and old friend is getting a 56 Chevy wagon to build.
  8. Hoping to get them in this weekend. I'm going to try the amps at .25 first then if that does not work ill recone them to be able to run .5 each.
  9. Yes I assumed by saying one was better than the other, you were implying there was something wrong with the other.
  10. thanks Hugo, they are awesome. The name and series has already been put into the works. I should have my cap logos next week with the name.
  11. Better than zcons? What was wrong with the zcons? Took 5k clamped on music. In all my abuse I only ever had 1 fail. And that was after my runs demoing the absolute piss out of them. My amps would usually overheat before the subs would let go. Id say 1 failure in a year with that much power and demos is a high success rate. I have rough specs but mark and Aaron will release them with other details when ready. I know ssa didn't really want pics leaked out yet but i think Mark could hear the excitement in my voice on the phone. So he told me to go ahead. This is not the exact production model but very close.
  12. 9-10" is standard for a lot of subs nowadays. I'm guessing those are 9.25" to 9.5" which are considered 10" spiders. I didn't say it was the biggest on the market. Just that it was the size of a plate. Just for my own knowledge, what subs have a bigger spider than 10"? And it does measure a full 10"+
  13. maybe next time. It didn't even come up in our conversation.
  14. you know what? I didn't even take one. I was lost gazing at that ass-tastic back side. It's just a boob cap like the zcon. Kinda reminds me of a mullet... All business up front And a party in the back!
  15. Spider is about the size of a dinner plate.
  16. They should name them beast. They are massive!
  17. Who wants to see these 74 lb beasts? Anybody? Got word from Mr LFTN tonight that said I can show em off.
  18. Far from thousands of people are waiting to see what happens with your build. Lets be honest here. I'm sure some people are sitting, waiting, crying until it happens, but not that many. ok maybe not a thousand. But this build log alone gets over 1000 hits a week. You think its the same 3 people coming in 350 times a week? GTFO
  19. If they or you feel I'm biting the hand that feeds me then ill take my business elsewhere. I do get team pricing to promote the brand but its hard when thousands of people are watching to see what happens. Its hard to say how ssa feels since they have not chimed in, publicly or privately. There are plenty of brands out there, I chose to stay with ssa for a reason.
