  1. I wasn't going to air that out in public but yes the world title would have been easily mine. A long string (more like a tow rope) of bad luck got me a 2nd place trophy. Not for lack of trying. By the time I figured out the issue it was too late to salvage the win.
  2. or a bottle. Ive been up for two nights straight. I really need to get some sleep.
  3. Jon, go to finals with me....
  4. How about a iak sticker on my ssa shirt? Ssa is my biggest supporter.
  5. Me too. I dont mind driving to Indy and meeting new friends. I would just rather do it without the car following me.
  6. Cars on the trailer gonna drop it off at my teams shop tomorrow, see if they can work out the bugs. I'm leaving for Indy after work.
  7. Sounds like an accident.
  8. Driving 18 hours tomorrow from Houston to Indy. Won't be much speeding towing my Camaro.
  9. I should arrive mid morning Friday. Assuming I leave on time and everything runs smooth. Who's ready for an overhaul on the Camaro once i get there?
  10. That car is going to be a collectors item before you ever drive it again.
  11. only had 3 recones and I wanted to take a couple to Indy just in case. I may try the driver side port before i sell it. But ultimately jons right. If I can find the problem in the system I should be a 160+ all the time.
  12. Well I didn't do anything different. I know it had this score in there somewhere. The problem is its soooo unpredictable. My scores fluctuate so bad its not funny. I know it sounds louder than normal sometimes. It just never happens when I'm on the meter. Finals should be interesting. I'm expecting a full teardown in the lanes before my runs. Hopefully we can find the problem.
  13. What is this? And then this..... Metered in the kick, outlaw. 51hz.
  14. its 92 here today. I might freeze my ass off.
  15. nope. The cap was just fine. Coil barely hit the cap. Just enough to POP it off the cone. 5 min epoxy is tough shit.
  16. Treir opening carls Jr in Houston now. Happy about that.
  17. Takes about 4 weeks. Be patient.
  18. yeah caps are holding strong. The one that let go last week was the cone right at the coil buckled. Allowing the coil to hit the backside of the dustcap. The glue held strong on the cap, it just ripped the paper off the cone itself. Sucks because the coil looked new still.
  19. i got the sub reconed today andf reinstalled in the wall. I paid for the registration of my two classes ill be competing in at finals. I may enter a third if things are going well. i have a trailer at my shop ready to roll. i borrowed my employees Ford to tow the Camaro up there since it has alot lower miles than my truck. Ill start testing with my termlab tomorrow.
  20. Julian, you know if this rebuild works out i may have to copy the idea. hurry up!
  21. I will be coming for sure now. I'm pre registering now. I reconed my sub tonight. I will be doing some testing tomorrow.
