  1. nothing i loved the btls only problem i had was the box design (pwkdesigns) i think it was either to much port area or something somebody was telling me so the subs power handling capabilities was cut down so they would get a lil to warm after a lil while at full tilt, but other than that nothing at all sounded great and the lows were excellent, just been wanting to go 4 12s ported for a while now and since i have a new car to play with decided why not this time around
  2. I just want to say thanks mj n everybody elses input just help put an ease to my mind, now I can get started on everything thanks
  3. Basically that is it Excel in lows but still offer good upper response curve, the system is basically going to be a street beater, no competitions just longs periods of playing time at full tilt, I don't want to run 2 btls again (I had the triple stack mag 15s), really want to switch it up to 4 12s but the recommendation of the fi q and aa havoc I think were excellent to what I want, havnt read much info on the havoc, but I have seen review were people say the q offer great responses low n still holds them strong when going into higher frequencies 40s n above while still offering great output
  4. right now a mechman 250, and 3 deka g31s and 2 runs of 0/1 knukonceptz ultra flek cable probably gonna be adding a 3rd run, going to tampa within the next 2 weeks to pick up a 4th deka g31, i have a optima g34 yellow top up front, but i wana replace it with a g34 deka, oh and thanks for reminding me of aa i had completely for got about them, thanks i have been catching headaches trying to decide on some subs that would fit my needs, and would work with the amp, last subs i had were fi btls and i loved them best subs i have owned so far....... but thanks, and i don't know how true it is, just here say, but i was told bl get loud but lows are not their strong points, i can't really be the judge since i have only heard one bl before and the song it was playing wasn't to low, but for it to be 1 12 in the trunk of lincoln town car on 1200 watts it was doing a nice lil dance lol, it was pretty loud
  5. oh ok sorry, amp rd d9, price range not really trying to spend over a thousand, want to run 4 12s ported wired to a 1ohm load, and yeah mainly excel in the lows but still offer a good response curve when going into higher frequencies, and it's all going into a 96 ss impala, was looking at some fi qs but was told they probably wouldn't be able to handle the power, since it's going to be a everyday full tilt setup for the most part
  6. Has anybody had any experience with the Hifonics OLM1612. I looking at them seen they recommend a high tunning frequency 40hz not really high but high for my taste, but has anybody had any experience with them at lower tunning 30-32hz..... and how did they perform on music, i listen to alot of slowed down music (chopped screwed) so really concerned on well they play low
