Do a search on Termpro for your vehicle make. If it's a small sedan I wouldn't be surprised if it's in the upper 50's. If it's a hatch, expect low 60's...SUV's...right around 50. Are we looking to compete? If so...see above. If not..I'd tune to mid 30's for daily..and higher if you aren't the SQ type

I'd say from a lot of people's experiences that the Mag will outperform the IDMax in the following ways: Power Handling SPL That's about it. The Mag has been known to like a box just a TAD bit larger than the IDMax....but I'd say give her a shot! Other than that...SQ should be sweet in either sub...both looking like they'll accept either sealed or ported applications if you feel the need for a bit more output BTW...What kind of power are we talking about?

1000w + 20hz tone + Mag D2 = I have NEVER....EVER....seen a woofer move even CLOSE to as far as it did when I dropped a 20hz tone (under tuning) on it....I'd say I got all 2.4 inches...talk about MOVING AIR...MY GOD!!! UNBE*******LIEVABLE!!!! Clarke

It's always nice to email Nick and show your interest. Just tell him that you are double checking availability and purchasing and then you can MO or paypal him. Make sure you include your address and maybe even your phone number just in case As much as you should just be able to paypal/MO money...it is good to give Nick a heads up on future purchases...I also think it's good communication with the customer..and I know Nick LOVES his customers

If it's metal...and it carries vibration of ANY SORT....DEADEN IT...MULTIPLE LAYERS....you can't spend enough on the stuff.... I'd suggest 3-4 layers at least...worked well on my hatch.... Clarke

15"...seal her....if you want some nice low end frequency extension the 4 cube box models up pretty darn nicely IMO

Sorry Clarke, but from my experience they sound nothing alike. The Brahma didn't have the punch/accuracy that the D2 has, I'm not sure how to explain it further. Though the Brahma did get a little lower for me, the D2 still has damn good low freq. extension. We all have our thoughts I don't think there are too many woofers out there that really sound anything like the Magnum..but if I were to give it's closest companion...it'd be the Brahma... IMO..they are both accurate as HELL...Brahma DOES go a lil lower though... It also has a lot to do with each install and application.. I don't really understand why people bother to spend $90 more for something that isn't going to do much more than the Magnum....I think it's the stupid power ratings...everyone is all SKEERED about ONLY 600wrms.... Oh well..all I know is that these puppies will be installed sealed in my coffin..should give some awesome transientes for the Memorial Day folks... Hmm...that was a weird tangent..
