I believe there are only 100 magnums with logos on them...all of which are 12's...I love it.... Kinda lame how not even the SI owner has a rare edition claw 12?!

The fact that Hollis wrote it...should tell ANYONE here it IS a w7 driver... We can't comment on design changes at this point...but try to think like Nick would.... "Do I really want a different looking/performing driver than what I've already got built?" I assure each and every person who has read this thread will be extremely grateful for the things SI is doing to the MAGNUM at this point in time.... And I WILL be bugging the hell out of Nick for the next 4 weeks to get things going as fast as possible... I'm callin him every night....

I got extensive experience on how useful disks in RAID are. 5 80 Gig disks in RAID 5 would be an optimum solution. Redundancy is essential, just imagine if the computer crashes and all the calculations and other stuff is lost. Lost 60GB of 3D animations that way and it sucked! Got a dedicated paypal account for hardware? If we chipped in a 10 or 20 each, SI`d have a killer system up and running in no time Or how about a supprter T-shirt "I pimp SI on hardware " for say, $35 - $40 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No paypal account through SI...only my own personal one...which I am good for....I think it would just be nice to have a couple raptors runnin'...

I can't give prices yet...once production is put in place I'd imagine we'd be able to inform you guys about prices... 8 will go into production...whether it will be before/after/during the 12/15 production remains to be seen...I wouldn't be surprised if someone got a new SI speaker before Christmas...

I just got a newsletter from Nick about our current status.... Just two things to touch on...much more to come in the nearing weeks... Cost of drivers is going DOWN....considerably...I don't know about you, but how much cheaper can you make a Magnum (I love that name ) and still have its performance equivalent to that of a Brahma or XXX? I can see the smiles already.... Changes are being made to the 8 proto....Can't say what they are...most of which are physical changes, and not so much frequency capabilities... That's all I got for now.... Bring on the emails

-NF7-s is a socket A board, so yes, it will need DDR PC2700 or DDR PC3200 to run properly I don't need a sound card, although, I'd like one if I can find one...I'm not thrilled with the onboard sound on this motherboard. Other things I need: Power supply HD's (I have two small WD's at the moment) Case CD-RW Video Card (I have a POS one for emergencies, but that's it) I think that's about it...let me know what you've got and we'll talk )
