Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Aaron, two bug that need fixing. 1 - If you go to View New Content and then on the second page, and click on a thread it wont show the last unread post, but instead go to the start. 2 - If you click on an image it will pop-up, but you can't right click and download or view it and it's properties. Basically you can't download posted images. There was a great feature here, if you post a big image it will re-size according to your screen. Can you bring it back?

Welcome to the IHoP v.2
I want to have changeable ports for playing around with frequencies and maybe a burp or two just too see what I can do. For me it will be worthwhile to spend many hours sanding and finishing with a polish... so beautiful in my head.

Thinking of making a plywood aero port. Stack the needed number of square pieces of plywood and start carving the outer and inside shape. It will take a full weekend most likely, but damn will it look nice after I finish it with some clear resin and polished. For the length I'll use a pipe or go with 8 side.

I wouldn't worry one bit about the engine-off rule. My score is almost the same engine on or off, during a burp voltage drops to 10.5v. And I've seen it drop lower The song deal is pure crap though. Roll with it, go and have fun My score won't change prolly, I'm pushing more than rated and a bit lower won't make a difference. I might just go to see stuff, not compete as it's a low watts 12 and I already know what I am hitting. Just give demos all day, the only Sundown system in the country.

Taste, I like to drink big bulks of flavored fluids. Ice tea, ice cream powder with milk smoothed in the blender, yogurt(no flavoring) with water smoothed in the blender, etc.

quick question about charging
Shizzz's post got me thinking too. But then again I am charging my batteries with the alternator almost every day for 30-60 minutes with driving, if it was problematic it would have already shown. Tho here we are talking about quite a longer period of charge. But since my charge is not "smart" I'll just charge mine both at the same time. That also got me thinking, if the batteries will be getting the same charge this way. The one with lower resistance will be getting more. But then they will get an equal voltage and receive the same charge. Correct me, if I am wrong here. But If you've got a smart charger and it's not too hard to disconnect each battery just don't risk it and charge separately.

I don't really care about shakes for the kcal. What do I put in one? Bunch of bananas, strawberries, milk, sugar?

Ugh, reading some of the rules of an upcoming Car audio event makes me facepalm. This to be exact: -Two of the scores will be measured with the engine off. -All scores in SPL class are measured with a predefined song. So my alternator won't be charging. Lower voltage-risk for the equipment, lower watts output. And they select a song for you, who cares your system is tuned at XX hertz.

Did some coke(read drank) and finished fiberglassing the second door panel. Now I have to figure out a way to attach a handle and, if I want any buttons on the door or wire(PITA) them somewhere close to the center console arm rest. Then I wrap it and done.

Fun times My first experience with fiberglass sucked What resin do you use for your aero ports? Polyester I can't recall, you use self-made molds, right? I might invest some time in aeros for my upcoming upgrade.

Keeping my coke in the basement might be the way to keep me off the PC and working on my car.

Actually I am covering some big ass holes. more like this http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h75/soesnake/Car%20Audio/Doorsdrilled1.jpg not the best pic but the idea is to drill a ton of holes so that the fg "sows" together the panel. Yeah, I understood what he meant, but I found no need to do it.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Actually I am covering some big ass holes. Right under the door opener thingy you can see what I am talking about. Or at the very right.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
I don't think it is that heavy. The plywood enclosure itself weights 5 kilograms (11 pounds). I'll be sure to weight the overall door panel after I am done.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
That in the left corner is texture soaked in resin. I hope it's all worth it at the end porting them.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Yeah, considering the subs are not even in production, somewhere in China or whatever.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Well, it seems I have 3 months to purchase an 18 and wall it, ready for a show.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Well, it's polyester.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
I am going to go check on my doors, one floor under is the bucket of resin, will check for a name.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
Doesn't smell bad. Has an accelerator and a hardener in bottles to be added to it. There is this older fella close by that does all kinds of fiberglass orders, from whom I got the % for the ingredients. Didn't tell me about sanding between layers, so it might be epoxy. After you add the accelerator it's kinda purple. Anyway, the bucket is huge, so I am stuck with it for a while. For a first timer it was a great experience, such a nice material to work with. Next thing might be body work.- Welcome to the IHoP v.2
I've no idea. Father had a big bucket from other projects, I didn't buy it to know. The mixing instructions were told to me. - Welcome to the IHoP v.2
