They want what they can't have. I agree with this. It's like winning an arm wrestling competition to snag you from another woman. Their version of driving a Lamborghini past a guy who was your rival. That is the competitive side. The flip side is that they crave a man to make them happy. If they see you making another woman happy it shoves that hunger under their nose. "If you can make her happy why not me", they think. They are lonely in some way and want to have that part filled.
