How could you have such a person living with you? It's your mother, but after all she has "done" for you...

People take things differently. You took it, you beat it, you become better. But some take it, but can't overtake it. They get antisocial, shy, don't talk to people, depression, isolation from the world. If the mind is weak, it just fails. Some commit suicide, some go to mental hospital.

You've had quite the life, but you can't compare your situation with someone else. In a normal family, if a kid does something stupid it should be punishing of course. But not with pain. You ground it, you take it's money, you take his whatever electronic device it's on. Make it regret what it's done. Sit down, talk what has happened, why you've made that decision. Hitting does help, but it should be in a form of a slap or a light hit on the back of the head. NOT to make you cry and beg and scream for the person to stop hitting you...

But I feel awful when I haven't got any food and I have to heavy work, as to some people can eat just once and work hard the whole day. No energy at all. Gimme something and after 15 mins, charged. Love my body.

Pretty much the same here. There are days when I can have a meal between 15-24 hours, with just one lil snack in between and feel ok. Probably that has to do whit me not being sick for many years. Body just eats all it can, to the fullest, rather than storing it somewhere as fat or just shitting it out due to more food coming down the throat.

Interesting, I find that noise loud.... Not that I don't have "quiet" drives, but my house is definitely quiet. You can easily hear my 22dBA fans as well. My are quiet, that's why you need to get your ear close. My house is quiet too, you can easily hear my wrist clock ticking if set next to the monitor. Or at least with my, I don't know what you call it... trained/sensitive hearing.

When you get your ear close to the case the loudest thing is the HDD's needle ticking inside.

I don't know if you can see it, but they are floating in the air attached only with zip ties. Way less vibrations transferred to the case-less noise. Great idea and good work on the desk IMO, keeping the case down would also reduce a bit of the noise, because it's not there at head level. I've thought about it, but I like my case on top, since I'll be doing a badass case mod too. If it was just going to be that ugly chassis I would definitely leave it down. Already noticing some bad vibrations transferred from the case to the desk. I had removed the stuff I've put under the case for some isolation, just for the pic. I have the ultimate quiet pc. Monitor/keyboard etc in kitchen, PC in basement below the floor. You could not hear mine when it was on the floor either.

Got my hands on a camera, sorry for the previous shitty cam pic. Luke, I think you were interested so I will be making a thread soon too. I need to make a drawer and a lil door under the amp(the open area you see is for that). The KB/mouse tray will be different too. All glass lit underneath.

Mines been that way for years. I just don't care to see the crap a lot of people have in there. That too.
