How should I treat them after sanding? Clear coat, wax of some sort? Or it will take years for the oxidation to come back?

Not bad. I thought you said they were covered in corrosion? That appears to just be oxidation to me. That would explain why you told me to discarding the rims. Sorry for misleading, I thought it was corrosion.

~3 hours from taking it off to putting it back on. All sanded by hand, lots of elbow grease. I could of done it a little faster, if I had a drill and a steel wire brush attachment, around.

It's only one wheel for now, but yeah, pretty sweet.

After you look into it for a split second you will see spots for quite a bit. It's ridiculous. I can't wait to build one out of 100 LED's. Nah, I mean if it was like regular headlights, if you were standing in the spot light on the pictures above, from a distance, how was it?

What kind of image? I've got quite a few images with very high resolution than can be printed out. I would also try google images and select some big size. Maybe the place you would go, could have some stock images too.
