  1. Thank-you for you're replys! I've not heard my sub in a ported enclosure yet, I had it running in 1 half of a twin 12" enclosure (2 cu ft each side) when I changed from my Infinity's to my Crunch and it sounded quite nice but poor SQ, its currently running in a 1.5 sealed enclosure and the SQ is deff better but just seem's to lack somthing so I'm thinking the ported could be the best of both for my setup. I'm looking to build everything into a false floor in the boot once everything is setup and running right, using the spare wheel space for the sub. If I recreate the same volume in the floor and port it, will I still get the same sound or will it change things again? I didnt realise you could wire the amp that way (again being a total noob ) how will this affect the way the sub sounds? This is how its currently setup http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/1DVC_4-ohm_2ch.jpg Not sure what ohm's I'm currently running at? I assume the ohm's are more important than RMS? Cheers
  2. Hi Guys, I am currently running a Crunch GP12D4 running off a Hifonics Titan TXi 6006 (budget setup in a small UK car) but I'm not sure what the ideal box would be? I'm going for an SQ setup but I do like my bass The manufacture reccomend 1cu ft in a sealed box & 1.25 cu ft in a ported box? What would you guys recommend? Also what would be the best way to wire up my sub to give the best sound? Sorry for all the noobie questions but there isnt as much online info in the UK Thank's all!
