I still havnt got it...
If Fi can't handle all of the business coming their way, why don't they get some more help? I understand how busy Nick and Scott are, but it looks like there are a handful of people in the same boat.. It's obvious they can't keep up with production and customer support at the same time. The business is growing, so should the number of employees to even everything out.

I tried to email. No reply. And sometimes they look at these forums and reply. I was just using my sources.. Since direct isn't seeming like an option.

Powering one amp off another
So I will have the dist. block near the amps, with the 1/0 going into it, with another run of 1/0 from the block to the sub amp, and a smaller size from the block run to the comp amp. Correct? I think I got the idea. Thanks guys!

Powering one amp off another
Where would I put it? My bat terminals have a couple outputs (1 1/0, 2 8g), but the whole idea here is to keep from running another cable down my car. Just keep it all in the trunk

12" 09 BL causing dimming
x3 on the big 3. A H/O alt isn't going to do a lot of good if you have stock cables from alt to bat and bat to body/engine. Get some 1/0g power cable and replace the stock Alt to + on Bat, Bat - to chassis, and Bat - to engine. That will improve electrical flow from the alt to the battery, which will obviously increase the voltage from the battery to the amp. If that doesn't help, then you should probably look into secondary batteries. But before you go there, check all wiring. If you got the D1 BL, make sure you're not wired to .5 ohms. I'm not sure if your amp is .5 stable, but if it is, that could be an issue. If it wasn't, the amp would go into protect mode. If you got the D2 you should be wired to 1ohm and should be fine.

Powering one amp off another
I have a cheap 300w amp that I plan to run to my doors and 6x9's in rear deck. I already have a run of 1/0 to my 1000w mephis amp. I was wondering if it is a good idea to run a short run of about 12-16g wire from the power inputs on the mephis where the 1/0 is, and from there to the power inputs on the 300w to keep from having to put in another run of power cable from battery to the trunk. I tried this already just to power the amp and it worked, but I didn't have any speakers wired to it. Would this be logical, or would it mess something up?

I mean I don't mind the wait, but I've made 3 purchases from fi before and they were all shipped faster than this and the tracking worked from day one

Porting a Sealed box (Aero Ports)
I'm not wanting this done for me, or I wouldn't have bothered with this question, I would have just went ahead and built another box. There's a guy that is buying these subs from me, but he wants me to port THAT box first. So whether it's ideal or not, I have to do it. So I just need to know the best way to do it

Porting a Sealed box (Aero Ports)
I have 4 12" RF Punch Z's in a sealed box. There are 4 different chambers in the box, one for each sub. (Approx 1 1/2 cuft each) I'm wanting to port this box to make it louder with PVC aero ports. My questions are: 1) Should I put a different port for each chamber/sub? or Should I take out the walls between each chamber and just port the whole box as one? 2) How big of PVC pipe will I need to effectively port the box? Id like the tuning to be as close to 30-35 hz as possible. Doesn't have to be an EXACT tuning 3) Where should I put the ports? Here's a couple pictures to help with what the box design is:

Is this a good trade?
Thank you guys.

Is this a good trade?
I have a guy that has a brand new in box Power Acoustik A1800DB amp, and he's wanting to trade it for my used Memphis 16-ST1000D. A 1800 watt for a 1000 watt.. I know PA isn't as quality of a brand as Memphis.. but it seems like a good amp. Any suggestions of whether or not I should follow through?

4 12" RF Punch Z's
I don't have the other box. I traded the box (for 2 15's) along with the 30$ for the RF's and the box for them.

4 RF Punch Z 12's
Got these in the box for 30$.. the guy didn't know what he had. Hooked them up to a 1000w Memphis out of curiosity and it was amazing. Best bang for the buck for sure

4 12" RF Punch Z's

best bang for $200 or lower
Why not just go with the RF 15"? I don't see why you'd rather spend the same amount of money on a 8" sub as opposed to a perfectly fine 15". It's not like you don't have room in that caprice for a sub that big. You could get the HX2 and build a nice ported box for it and be very satisfied off 1kw. I mean it's all personal preference, but I can just see the 15" outdoing an 8" off 1kw. especially if you're looking for SPL.

4 12" RF Punch Z's
Well I didn't get anything in until late last night, so I'm waiting on day time to take some good pics. Unfortunately I have work 4-10 right after school today But Saturday I will def have some pics and possibly video. When it comes to the Digits Duran, I don't know of anyone within an hour and a half of me with a TL.. I'm going to go to the local shop to see if they might have one. I'll be impressed if they even know what a Term Lab is though. . .

4 12" RF Punch Z's
I managed to get my hands on 4 old school Rockford Fosgate 12" Punch Z's yesterday in about a 4ft^3 sealed box for 30$ and a pre-fab sealed box for 2 15's... Just for kicks and giggles, I put this setup in the trunk of my Grand Am hooked to a 1000w memphis amp. Drove up the street playing "I'm Raw" by Lil Wayne, turned the bass knob up, and just about S*** myself. I was absolutely blown away by the performance of these things! They don't look like they could blow the dust off of the dustcap.. but looks obviously aren't everything. For 30$, I'd say I've found myself a great temporary daily setup until I order my Z15. I'll record a video saturday while I'm off work to show you all what they can do. Just felt like sharing my story

Wiring for 4 subwoofers
So I got the subs, and turns out that they are 4 ohm SVC subwoofers.. So I can wire all of them to my amp to create a 1 ohm load correct? Four 4 ohm SVC's = 1 ohm? And how should I wire them to my amp? It's a 2 channel Memphis D Class

Wiring for 4 subwoofers
yes I looked at it and it told me exactly what I needed. I was just answering his question. Didn't wanna be rude and ignore his comment Btw, thanks impious for the link.

Wiring for 4 subwoofers
What do you mean "minimal impedance"? What impedance is your amplifier stable at? As for wiring; JL Audio - Car Audio Systems sorry, my amp is 1 ohm stable. And I'd like to wire them as low as possible without it being below 1 ohm

Wiring for 4 subwoofers
So i have a friend giving me 4 RF 12" punches tomorrow in a big sealed box. I'm wanting to put it in my car just to see how it sounds. I'm pretty sure the punches are 4 ohm DVCs. Anyone have a good diagram on how I should wire these for minimal impedance? It would be much appreciated. Also, if anyone is curious on how they perform, I will shoot a video and post it on here.
